- In this episode, Siskel and Ebert review: The In-Laws, Lost and Found, Escape from Alcatraz, Rocky II and The Main Event.
Wow, Roger pretty much nailed the plot of Rocky 3.
I Wish Siskel & Ebert were still alive and were still doing movie criticism. Even though I didn't always agree with them and sometimes I would say wtf 😮😂 but in general life can't help but suck without them. They were a major part of my movie life growing up. I always looked forward to watching their new episodes every Sunday 😢😢😢
20:14 "Oh God, oh man..."
HBday,RE. Rip
They never ended up fighting in the Roman coliseum but everything else was spot on ! Lol, at "another $4" - I wish tickets cost that little today.
They really should have stopped after Rocky 3. I did enjoy Creed 1 . If that's all there were Rocky I-III and Creed I, then it would be one of the greatest franchises ever
15:52 Escape from Alcatraz
I really love Escape from Alcatraz. Too bad it was the final time Clint Eastwood would work with Don Siegel.
Next episode all "YES"
7:52 The In-Laws
The Prisoner became The Warden.
Then he became a doctor (in Scanners). Institutions were a thing with this guy.
Would have loved to have seen Pat McGoohan as James Bond.
@ricardocantoral7672 that's something to think about.
12:08 Lost & Found.
Well, Siskel missed the ball on THE IN-LAWS
Disagree with both about Rocky II. It’s basically a retread of the first one, except…what’s Rocky going to do, lose again? Of course not. No suspense whatsoever.
And the In-Laws is an all-time classic! Don’t watch the terrible remake. Escape From Alcatraz is a great procedural thriller based on a true story.
I really hate to agree with you.on this but you are RIGHT, I look at ROCKY as a love story and not a sports movie. They pretty much re-did the story over again.
when I was 10, I would have looked at you like you were nuts, as a boy I hated ROCKY because he lost...as a 52yr old man, I now see the beauty in the original movie and waaay superior to all the sequels.
