Their program is great and I love the access to professors from all over the U.S. that would not be an option otherwise. Excellent book recs as always!
💙💚 Can you please make a combo video where the first half is you writing in your agenda and the second half is a vlog of you doing the things on your agenda? I'm just wondering how you can read so many books while raising two kiddos and teaching full-time. Teach us your ways! 🥰 Did you read fiction while you were doing your masters program?
I enjoyed looking at your bookshelf! I’m trying to read more, but I am such a slow reader. There was a book you described on one of your Instagram stories-it was about like these six boys being diagnosed with schizophrenia. Sounded so interesting! I added it to my Goodreads.
Caucasia is one of my all time favorite books! I liked New People a lot. It was one I didn't think I liked along the way then I couldn't stop thinking about the characters when I was done.
Love your channel! This year, I will switch from secondary school teaching to elementary schools. Do you know a channel cool and fun like yours, but focusing on elementary levels? Thanks!
Your book videos are always my favorite!!! I’d love to see a day of reading in your life of a teacher and mom and where you sneak it in! ❤❤
I love, love, love the Gilder Lehrman resources and online courses. It is incredible PD.
I always appreciate your book recommendations, thank you!

There are just too many good ones! 😂
I love to reread books from an older age to see how my perspective changes. Thanks for sharing this list! ❤
Thank you for the resource! It has so many great things I can use in class next year!
That program looks so good. That is for sharing all your books. I added a bunch to my summer list.
My summer list is getting so long! 😂
I love seeing your two cutie kids! 💕 also A Tree Grows in Brooklyn is so comforting to me!!! Read a few years back
I kind of wish I’d also read it as a kid in my formative years, but I’ll just make my own kids read it now! 😂
I definitely will be adding New People and Caucasia to new list of summer reads. Thanks for sharing these wonderful books.
They’re so good! And her husband wrote James, which is also on my summer list!
James is in my cue on Libby 😊

@@Caroli.Colibri That’s a great idea! I read ZERO fiction until I was done with my masters 😂 I took about a year off from reading entirely!
Thanks for sharing this!!
Adding these to my TBR list!!
I am reading How To Hide an Empire right now and my jaw has been open the whole time. I didn't know so much that was included.
I also missed the original Tree Grows in Brooklyn phase so I should really go back and read it!
I wish I could go back in time and read it! 😂
I love your videos, and am always learning from you.
I love their resources! Everything I have used has been top notch and I love their teacher affiliate program.
Oooh I’ll have to check out that program!
Thank you for the book reviews and suggestions.

That’s how I’m feeling now, I keep thinking about them!
Yes, the women has been great to learn more about the difficulties of returning from a war most back home didn’t want.
After listening to “The Rediscovery of America”, this makes me intrigued and curious to read “How to Hide An Empire”. Thank you for the suggestions!
Oooh I’ll have to read that one next!

Loved Shanghai Girls!
Interesting as usual. I just watched the Jonestown documentary. Horrifying.
So horrifying! I wish that this character’s dissertation was real because I would totally read it. It was about songs of resistance within the cult.
I'm reading How to Hide An Empire and The Women.
