    Definitely worth saving.

Brilliant cars - just so useful, comfortable ride, could use it as an office with tables on back of seats and on folding down rear centre one, could stretch out when parked, with dash gearlever and no centre console enabling easy access into the back, could use it as a van with rear seats removed and could use it as a bed.....which I did many times when working away! Bought for £500 - I took it up to nearly 300,000 miles, 2.0 diesel engine still fine, just needed new sills.
I'd have another in a flash - much better car than it's successor!

I agree with u Lee that the picasso is defo worth getting the sills smoothed over and passenger side wing re painted...Defo money to make on it and keep a good car on the road at the same time...Interested to see it when it's all done...Fantastic video as ever m8 and keep up the great work at " The Car Pitch "...👍🏻👏🏻😉👏🏻

Just love this channel for the straightforward knowledge on reasonable used cars. I also appreciate that Lee is letting us know about equipment or car reports that would make buying the cars safer. He's not promoting a dodgy title, computer game, or kitchen knives - just things every second-hand car buyer needs. That and Lee's patter makes me enjoy his videos.
    Keep them coming Lee.

FWIW there's a 500,000 mile Picasso called Pass The Picasso being passed on amongst various RUclipsrs. It's just had sill welding (using a cut up old BX door panel) and it's quite a complicated job. For such a late model somebody will want your one. Maybe give the previous owner a drink out of it as goodwill/encourage him to buy from you again. Always good to know what happens in the end - many similar RUclipsrs show new stock and we never hear about if/when it sells.

I Take the rear seats on for trips to the tip and on holiday when theres only 2 of us .Ive had the sills repaired due to rust apart from that its been brilliant i would never have chosen Citroens but they have served me well for 22 years.

There are so many cars that are truly overrated for their so called reliability and these Picasso's fall nicely below the radar if you can find a decent unabused example like this one is.

As a Trade Plate Driver i delivered plenty of these Xsara Picassos, as they were very popular with the rental companies. The Diesels were more of a pleasure to drive than the Petrols because they were more robust, and the satisfaction of watching the bars on the fuel gauge disappear every 50 miles was an extra joy. They were to be discontinued in the late 2000s, but got a few years extra reprieve due to their popularity, and their production ran in tandem with the new C4 Picasso. This is obviously one of the last ones, and possibly the most Picasso-ist of them all. That nearside wing paint job is definitely in harmony with the great man's quirky artwork! 🎨🖌️

But people let them get so bad that they need entire front to rear on both sides which then is totally uneconomical and they get chucked, injectors are also quite common we've found anyway, at 78k miles you can't go wrong! Surprised the seller let it go with the amount he put into it and the low mileage, but have been there myself, threw a couple of grand into my fiesta over a couple of years, was just one thing after another, then you get one tiny wee mechanical issue and I threw my dummy out the pram and got rid.

Theres a 512k+ mile picasso out there its #PassThePicasso where the car is lent out for free and passed on to keep putting the miles on it that 2.0 hdi is a strong eninge and this is pre dpf so none of that nonsense to go wrong

Yet another cracking vidio Lee, that looks like it's got a few years left in it and will make a good run around for someone. Now I have asked other car dealers on RUclips one thing and not one has replayed so I'm asking you..... Why is it so important to have TWO keys for the car when you can only ever use one... Is it so the car dealer can knock you on px price or just something dealers say. One car one key that's all you need it should not affect the price... 👍👍

Worth spending a few quid for decent profit. There is a half a million mile Picasso featured most recently on UpNDown channel.
