Oh man, the Double Rock Buster still gives me chills when watching this scene! Such a simple scenario, yet so effective, especially when you understand why Rock is fighting, for Roll, Light, Gemini Man, Quick Man, even Wily; and for everlasting peace. Rock knows what that blast will do to his system, but he's smiling because victory is worth that cost.
I'm thankful that the Archie Comics did this game justice with better writing and story, along with making Ra Moon a bit more likeable and memorable. :)
I like how Magnet man flung himself to block the shot for Mega Man and then both Hard Man and Wood Man take the next shot together considering they have thick armor. then all the other robots that are specialized in attacking and combat converged their energy into Rock. nice plan.
The ending should have least have Rock and his brothers giving some respect the fallen Wily Numbers, without them they would never have defeated Ra Moon.

It's a pity there are some missing scenes, like different branch choices and losing to the robot masters, but still this is way to awesome Even if it's kinda uncannon and sometimes inconsistent, this game shows us a lot about Megaman character personalities. It makes that pixelized objects we played and fought on MM1/2/3 so more relevant. It's priceless!

What I find cool is ra moons pain is not caused by the initial blast of plasma rather the subsequent overheating of its cpu literally cooking it alive in its shell. It doesn’t scream from the shot rather until its body begins to burn red hot.

Which leaves this question... Why didn't Ra-Moon upload himself into New Yellow Devil's body and become invincible instead of leaving himself in the open???
...If the New Yellow Devil absorbs energy, shouldn't Metal Blade, Bubble Lead, Quick Boomerang, Shadow Blade, Search Snakes, and Top Spin have an effect?
@ShadowLuigi243 Quickman is not Megaman's Brother. His Brothers are as follows: Protoman, Gutsman, Cutman, Bombman, Iceman, Elecman and Fireman. And Maybe Auto and Flip-Top/Eddie but that is about it. All the other robots are not quite related to him.
Her look in MegaMan 8 was best and she wasn't a semi-toddler, but yes I liked her classic look. I hate when something Americanizes things from their original designs. Take a good look at the Legend of Zelda and Captain N TV shows, those were just god AWFUL and Captain N butchered everything about the characters, especially to the MegaMan characters and Simon Belmount from Castlevania.
Technically, it was Keiji Inafune that disowned it. But now he no longer has a say on what direction Mega Man should go since he's no longer with Capcom.

I think they're just used to the idea that they can be rebuilt at any time. Wily has their personalities in his database.
The fact that hard man and wood man litterally were burned until their bodies were completely incinerated is actually really dark.
I love the fact that ra moon litterally gets his robotic nervous system fried inside of its body as it screams in agony .
It's nice to see Light's other original robots standing with Megaman at the end as friends...the way it should be :)
