This makes me wanna break out my modded Wii lol, it's honestly so dope and interesting it can do a lot more than the switch in certain areas (namely playing GameCube games natively)

Sadly I don't exactly remember😅 It's been over 4 years since I downloaded those emulator fowarders. I do remember for the NES & SNES emulator you can download fowarders from the homebrew browser, but for n64 i'm not too sure. A simple search would probrably help though.

I highly reccomend installing priiloader and booting into usb loader gx, saves time and you still have all your system apps
I used to do that actually! But I stopped cause I enjoy booting into the Wii Menu a bit more.
