....Or perhaps, the "moral of the story" is, that their dedication to security of their country and their freedom, is more important to them, as it is to all of us, than their personal life, and anything else...
Mine favorite Russian song is, apart from the well known in the "West" -- "Those were the days" , are, "Tyomnaya noch" (Dark night), ""Eh dorigi" (Oh, the roads), and also, some other, equally VERY moving songs.
I heard north corean band performing this piece and it was also kinda awesome. Especialy when you mention the fact they are singig the first part in russian as best as they can.
Very lovely, thanks for the suggestion! When i create this video, i want to name it as "Rare Version". But, i do see the version of this song isn't quite rare, there are some videos out there that using the same audio version of this thing. Any suggestion to replace the name besides "Rare" or "Unpopular"? Looking forward to know it!
I guess their girlfriends back in Great Patriotic War-probably the famous (redhaired) "nightwitches" with a bunch of medals more each weren't available because of nightshift. We're is their song??😉
I don't think they're as proud history for the USSR. Part of why their accomplishments were so great was because the government actively gave them the oldest planes with the worst range. If I remember correctly they could only carry one bomb at a time, so the same pilots would have to make multiple bombing runs of the same target to make sure it was fully destroyed, yet a lot of these women managed to annihilate their targets and survive the war, which is insane and definitely worth praising. Still I don't know how a soviet songwriter would be able to spin that to make Stalin's government look good.
These were old biplanes of agriculture, which were very slow, could not take much damage and had to land and take off about six times a night. Usually they climbed to a higher altitude in preparation of their attack, turned off their engines and slid silently towards their mission goals. In this way, the air defense often did not recognize them and realized their presence too late when they were already on the way back. Due to their acceptable maneuverability and their low speed and altitude, they were also difficult targets for night fighters.

@@MickZorro Yes, I know. That is why if they fall in love, they must either cast it off or fall out of the sky.

очень классно!)) но, "unpopular" по английски больше значит что песня плохая, не что неизвестная, лучше слова было-бы "Rare"
