That Zerg nuke was one of the best nukes ever caught on stream. I can't believe it.

@@krellin the red dot goes away in the last sec before the nuke lands. there’s a small window between when the nuke is being laser designated and when the nuke lands. You can move the ghost in that window as well and it’s too late to cancel the nuke.

You're playing ladder to try and improve your play against people of a similar skill level. Then on comes a GM with a smurf account that is clowning your ass. You do not learn anything from that game except this guy is so much better than you that he can just troll you. It's not fun and a waste of time.

@@ralphm4132 truth, we need to prop up good sportsmanship with positivity to keep it going, if negativity gets all the spotlight, even if viewed in a negative light, people will either act out to be in videos/streams or streamers will seek out the "salt mines" for content since its getting more responses, neither are good outcomes

I love how on that first awesome nuke there's a delay before Roaches start flying everywhere. It's like some Looney Tunes crap where it takes them a few seconds to realize they've been blown to high hell

I wish I could play games like SC2 like this, just casually observing my base getting attacked and knowing I can't defend it. Games like this just make me too tense. My health is more important than the thrill of making... gold league before I succumb to life-threatening heart palpitations.

As always pros aaalways underestimate how insanely good they are. "Just" to gm with ghosts in phase 1 is totally possible even if you have 1 losing matchup, all other matchups will have a winrate over 60% for sure
Beasty did for example cyclone only and got to gm and almost got gm with sentries only (wtf) or viking marauder almost worked too.
Ravens + mines only got to gm too
I've seen Ravens only to GM as well.
Sentries was amazing, would love to see a pro/ex-pro retry it

Thinking about the ghosts heros (+40 killed units), I challenge you to pick 1 random unit an make it your terran hero. The hero has to keep alive the entire game and have (+25 units killed).

Ebay block advantages versus protoss when playing mass ghost: You relocate their second base to a better location to hit it with runbys with ghosts you can't build in time to runby, and spend the minerals required to prevent a gas steal in the main.

I love the fact that he complains about smurfing and trolling in the same sentence. If uThermal is playing below his real elo, he is doing so as a HUGE handicap, not a "trolololol this build always wins"-meta. The 2nd Zerg player got beat by mechanics and his own failure to grasp simple countering concepts. If someone builds Ghosts, and you only see ghosts, SVCs, one dropship and nukes... Maybe stop trying to base rush with zerglings and roaches?
I haven't played SC2 since the month after Void was released and almost never competitively, so I don't know how I would counter mass-ghost as Zerg, but expect I'd build anything other than Zerglings. Maybe... Mutalisks?
@@YoghurtKiss Definitely not mutalisks xD zerglings and banes are fine, so are roaches. It really comes down to control and awareness. This zerg was just bad.
