    • @mattbedrosian5298

@NYESOX You can certainly argue he's never had it as a head coach without Brady. He was under .500 and missed the playoffs in 4/5 years as the Browns hc. Went to NWE, went 5-11 with Bledsoe in 2000. Then starts 0-2 in 2001 before Brady steps in, is on the hot seat before Tom takes them on sb run that year. Brady leaves in 2020. Has now missed the playoffs in 3/4 years since Tom left, 0 playoff wins, 0 division titles. 81-96 all time record without Brady. So yes, he's never had it without Tom.

Bill said in the press conference after that Zappe had been running 2min drills in practice pretty well, and that despite the lack of result he saw positives that translated from practice to that drive. It was *all* messaging and rating Zappe on the outcome is not the idea.

And that's the thing, ain't it? It's not just that the team is terrible. It's that it's getting WORSE. Every week feels like we've hit rock bottom and the next week we find another way to sink even lower.
Although I don't know how it gets worse from here. Players standing at the podium giving more of a defense of Belichick than Belichick ever could. Mac Jones literally on the brink of tears both on the bench and the podium. Players getting suspended and fired. Kraft becoming a meme in front of an international audience.
