love these drive arounds mate.............I've never driven a motor bike in my life.......... ....so its my 2 legs that get me around Patters........I do a lot of early morning walks and love discovering new places.......I've had the ribs in that mama and papa place many times......best value ribs in town......The I.R. I used to love the 99baht breakfast buster in the good old days.......great vlog mate.......

Karaoke is not very popular, there is sometimes a one off night but that's about it
I use to stay next door to I rovers , looks like it closed down , but I use to eat there all the time at I rovers breakfast , loved it ,

I was in Pattaya a few weeks ago and went to I-Rovers to grab dinner and watch the Monaco Grand Prix. Same as you Trev, I had the chicken parma and it was a decent effort, better than what I was expecting I would get in Thailand and can’t complain for the 200 baht they’re asking. It was good fun to watch the race and have a few drinks at I-Rovers.

Talking of noisy hotels, I stayed at iRovers in 2019, LK Metro went until 5am then, loved it, a great place to stay and really cheap.

it a great beach view . its crazy, they change the helmet law here, now if you are over 16yrs old you are not required to have a helmet. I love chicken Parmigiana .

Really cool place I found was number 1 bar on soi 8 I showed them how to play beer pong of course they loved it because drinks were going fast 😅, and on 2nd street the post, really good burgers better than any joint where I live and the staff is amazing.

Loved the i-rovers breakfast, but that place at the end of new plaza onto second road is where I got food poisining after a chicken dish for the first time ever in over 12 trips to thailand, Maybe I was unlucky but it cost me 2 wasted days . Good advice about walking facing the traffic and not leaving passports and checking motorcyles for damage before hiring

This is an old one Trev. I notice there was a party at Ma Mac on the 19th of May. Anyway, there are some good bars down there, I will visit a few when I come in August, I can't afford the dearer bars now. It is costing me £1,200 for an off-season flight from Newcastle. I used to get a flight a few years ago at that time of year for £400.

No tourists on the beach. low season apparently. When is the rush comes?
If we have a high season it normally runs November to March when Europe etc is cold
I stayed at the irovers pre Covid it was a mistake. The issue wasn’t the late night noise but the early morning noise. The Brit’s were screaming at 6 am in the morning yelling watching a soccer game.
Yeah can imagine it was noisy
We Brits don't watch soccer ...... it's football.
....also, highly unlikely to be watching football from England at that time. That's 11pm or midnight.
@@ericisking7 I know what the time was it was 6 or 7 am I was staying above the bar. Football-soccer crisps- chips chips- fries lift- elevator flat- apartment chemist- pharmacist I could go on all day. This was back in January orf 2020.

Irovers was my place to go and stay. Daryl and Gary have always been good. Wouldnt wanna bring bad to the place so wont mention the incident but due to that Lurch looking manager, I made a decision of never giving my business to them again.

There seems to be so little visible homelessness and addiction on you walk-n-drive arounds compared to the West. And now a level of violence has increased due to unmanaged mental health/addiction cases. Man, I've had two wrestling-around-on-the-ground physical altercation with methheads, and one almost-fight with a marauding freak on a bicycle, in the last five years. I'm in my 50s now and I've had more violent altercations then I've had since my teens and early 20s! And this bs isn't happening at 2AM, when you'd expect bad things to be happening. It's happening in broad daylight, to innocent people that just happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Pattaya looks light years better than over here.

Talking to someone last night who says the bar fines on soi 6 have shot up to 1500 baht! If these buissness loose customers because of there absolute greed I have zero sympathy for them - I cant understand there logic in thinking that if its quiet with customers just double the price to make up for it , I wonder do they consider that this is shooting themselves in the foot for the long term😢
