Hey, I've been watching your reactions to Friends. But Season 3 episodes 1 & 2 are missing. Instead there are 2x S3 Ep 3 & 4. Can you uploaded Ep 1 and 2, please, or is it deliberately they aren't on YT?
@@betwixttales Those episodes were unfortunately removed by Warner Brothers and so are only on Patreon. I think that's happened with about 6-8 episodes so far, I've tried to fight it but had to remove the videos ultimately to avoid getting the channel taken down

Sheldon and Penny’s dynamic is my favorite. They annoy each other in their own way but there’s a sibling love there as well.

My pick for best costume is Sheldon's "the Doppler shift" costume, but that's because I'm a physicist and I immediately understood how clever the costume was.
I also liked Raj's idea when they all had on a Flash costume that they all stand in line to look like one really fast moving Flash - a very impractical but hilarious idea.
Thanks for continuing your reactions to The Big Bang Theory. In my opinion, it is a show that started out good and got even better over time.

I appreciated the doppler effect costume because it was a rare scientific reference I immediately got. 😄
Far from a physicist myself but I am a DJ and to calibrate turntables the dots on the plater appear motionless if they are set up correctly at each speed (33, 45, 78). Understanding that and Schrödinger's Cat has helped me appear more intellectual to the opposite sex for years... "God" bless TBBT😂🕺

Howard's costume is actually a classic Robin Hood look. It's there in some literature/movies throughout many years. It just happens to look similar to Peter Pan's as well.

Me and my wife sometimes binge watch this , even random episodes.. Some of the episodes we know them by season and number . Don't even need to look them up. You're in for a treat with all the special guests that appear on this series.
The relationship dynamics are fabulous in this series. I love Leonard. He's so sweet and gentle. Like my hubby. Nice guys really are the best.
While Kaley Cuoco (Penny) is empirically more physically attractive, I've had a thing for Sara Gilbert (Leslie) since about halfway through Roseanne, back in the 90's.

Not just loudness but the pitch changes as well, based on the speed differential. You won’t notice it with a slow vehicle but a huge drop when an F1 race car whizzes by!

NO - it's the PITCH in the Frequency of sound waves that increases on approach and decreases as range decreases. The volume change is from proximity - but change in Frequency Pitch is the Doppler Effect - thank you Christian Doppler, 1842.

The actress who plays Lesley Winkle was a main character on the Roseanne show and the actor who plays Leonard played her long term boyfriend on the show. They were a famous tv couple for years!
Sara Gilbert and Johnny Galecki. They were "Darlene and David" on Roseanne/Conners - but their characters were more than long term bf/gf... they were MARRIED and had 2 kids. (Harris and Mark)
I also love Sheldon's mom she is a huge highlight of the show

Actually, it's a buck and a quarter quarterstaff, but I'm not telling HIM.
An easy example of the Doppler Effect is how you can hear the noise of an airplane overhead is often not where you see the plane. The difference of the sound you hear from what you see because of how far away from you the thing making the noise *is* and whether the thing is coming at you (sounds faster) or going away (sounds slower). There is a whole physics thing going on, mostly I just think: airplane noise when you hear the plane above you but the plane is clearly way over ... there. :D

I still think the first couple seasons are the best. Enjoy the whole show, but it did lose something as the years went on.
TBBT is really a great show, although since it has so many seasons, the quality dips in the second half, but I still enjoyed it. So it will be fun to see it together with you :) TBBT has some cool side characters. You already met Sheldon's mom, but there will be others :D

The actors playing Leslie and Leonard were the Ross And Rachel of that show and Sheldon's Mom won 3 consecutive Emmy Awards for her acting on Roseanne. They are all so good❤

Hello man :) thanks for free patreon episodes this month . At least i know how it works there . Btw .. 2 episodes a week are imho too little . Considering you'll keep it this way , you're gonna end up around January 13, 2027 :D 279 episodes in total + there is also spinoff Young Sheldon , which i highly recommend to watch after :) and it has 141 episodes in 7 seasons . So maybe 3 episodes a week ? or 2 episodes twice a week ? maybe ? just suggestion . You're in for quite a ride 🤣🤣😊

You are in for such a treat watching this show! You will not only get more interactions between these characters, but new similar characters with a mix of personalities and backgrounds. They all grow and have the inevitable conflicts and rivalries within their group and with outsiders. Parents will bounce in and out (not a very shocking revelation) and you will find them quite interesting. This show started strong and got better!

I'd love to see you give Young Sheldon a chance, if you can fit into the schedule of the channel. I feel like it progresses better than the original, it has Mary (Sheldon's mom) in all of the episodes, and is slightly shorter as well :)

The dynamic between Leonard and Leslie would totally hit different if you’d ever watched Roseanne. Johnny Galecki and Sara Gilbert go back a long, long way.

So I guess you don't know but way before this we had the show Rosanne. The Conners was a spinoff to that show. Leonard plays David who is the live in boyfriend of Darlene who is played by Leslie. And one more thing, her Aunt Jackie in that show is played by Sheldon's mom.

The actor who play's Leonard was a teenager in the show Roseanne where as Leslie character actress played Roseanne's daughter, Darlene. Interesting note, The actress who played Sheldon's mother also was a key figure in the Roseanne show as she played here sister. She even won emmy's for it
