The Office seems to get better and better. Steve Carell brings the energy in the first few episodes but you quickly see the other personalities shine throughout.
100% YES to The Office!!! A fantastic show! Top ten favorite for me. I laughed so hard at y’all’s reaction I cried. I had to take a break from the Patreon because I was juggling too many memberships, but I’ll be back so quick if you continue watching this.
I swear, you guys are too adorable together! ❤❤❤ I love this! And The Office? Great choice my you guys. No wonder you're laughing uncontrollably before the starting 😂 Such a beautiful and lively couple. I'm here for it.
I'm so excited y'all are starting this series! I'm 1000 percent on board with this! Btw y'all are adorable when you're tipsy! Please react to the office!
O . M . G. All the seasons of The Officeeeeeeee ?????!!!!! Couldn't have asked for a better surprise!!!! Yaaaasss!!!!! If you don't pursue this TV series, the Gods of Rains will be displeased, remember! 😂😅
The Six Million Dollar Man was a major hit tv show in the 70s about an astronaut who crashed a plane and who was rebuilt with a bionic right arm, both legs and eye. So he became a superhero working for the government. They had no idea how to make it look like he was going "fast" so they made the very questionable decision to show him running in slow motion with that "shatatatata" sound effect repeatedly. And somehow that was supposed to be him going super fast. There was a lot of very horrible physics in that show for sure.
Friends and The Office are the only comedy shows I know that don't become terrible in later seasons. Definitely the two best comedy shows of all time, in my opinion.
Omg what an awesome surprise! The Office is an absolute riot! Get through the first season and you have no idea the laughter that’s in store! I only got into it myself a year ago and I’ve already watched the entire series dozens of times. You’ll love the characters. Constantly laughing and/or tearing up 🥹
HIMYM is not a rip off of FRIENDS. The life lessons you learn from it, the lines, the character arcs, everything is legen-wait-for-it-dary, LEGENDARY. If Nick starts watching HIMYM, I will finally apply a credit card and become a member of his patreon 😅
The Office is so rewatchable, a million little jokes and inside things you get when you pay close attention. Example, Creed randomly dyes his hair black and then later someone mentions all the ink is missing from the printer.
Please continue with _The Office_ ! It is one of the most important TV shows in modern pop culture! There are some parts in later seasons that are so funny that it will literally put you on the ground laughing! There is also a fair amount of drama and romance! This is one show that should not be missed!
You get to know all the different employees in the office over time…and they’re hysterical! Yeah it starts with mostly cringy Michael Scott as the boss, but as everyone else’s characters are revealed it gets even funnier!
The Office is one of those shows that starts off moderately strong but gets really good as it goes on. I personally would say go for it. edit: no spoilers, but as it goes on it does start focusing more on other characters and less on the awkward boss man.
As you watch it the “off”characters become so much more amazing than they are im the first season. They are frequently frequently more interesting than the mains.
The actors who played Ryan and Toby and Kelly were writers for the show which is why they are kept in a different part of the office so they could be writing on the go during filming.
The Office was lightning in a bottle. it was based on the British series of the same name. However, they had to make some changes especially with the Michael Scott character, they had to find a way to make him more likeable for the long run because there were only 12 episodes of the original series in Britain. And Steve Carell brought a really heartbreaking vulnerability and loneliness to Michael in later seasons. Both series are shot like nothing else. All of the people on the show sat at their desks all day. There were two cameras operating, one that followed the main action, and one that picked up reaction shots from the other characters sitting at their desks. So to many of them, who had actually worked in offices like Pam, the receptionist, it felt like working in an office because it wasn’t a typical set where you shoot a scene and then go offset while they shoot someone else. Also they had three writers who had roles on the show. Paul Lieberstein played Toby. Mindy Kaling was Kelly Kapoor. And BJ Novak was Brian the Temp. That is unheard of. Also, the writer of the episode would be onset as a producer. Also unheard of. On most shows the writers and actors often don’t even meet each other. The series was not shot in the traditional manner. They did not want young hot stars that looked like friends, though I loved friends. They wanted realism. That realism led to some of the most in-depth character development on a series in history. The show had moments of great pathos as well as comedy. You’ll notice the comedy is not typical of many sitcoms with set up line, set up line, punchline. All of the comedy comes from the characters. Which is the hallmark of really great comedy series. The first season of the office was rough, but the second season is where they really started to hit their stride after the network decided to trust them and leave them alone lol. Continue with it it is in someways more popular now than it was when it was on the air. With Podcasts books and the highest streaming minutes of any comedy series worldwide.
In the late 70s, there were 2 popular shows on television. The Six Million Dollar man starred Lee Majors (also was the original "Fall Guy" in the 80s) and the Bionic woman with Lindsey Wagner. Both characters had suffered catastrophic accidents and were "rebuilt" using robotic hands, arms, sight, hearing and legs. When the bionic people would run, it would be shown in slow motion and a repetitive sound would play in the background, sort of the equivalent of making the noise when playing with light sabers. Kids would make the noise while they would play outside running with friends, pretending they too were part robot.
it's only episode 1 & 2 and i'm already looking foward for the 3-4 season! I'M SOOOOO HAPPY, THIS SHOW HAVE SO MANY ICONIC LINES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! can't wait
From IMDB: Tom Huang, who worked as a writers' assistant on the show, suggested the idea of the employees putting cards with ethnicities on their heads. This was based on a real-life experience of his.
To answer your question: Steve was a nobody during first season and the show was nearly canceled... BUT right after the first season aired, Steve was in an INCREDIBLY popular movie called The 40 Year Old Virgin. Due to that movie, season 2 was ordered and they mellowed out Michael's character a bit (made him more likeable). Please keep going on this - The Office is such a great show!
We’re not wrong when we say ‘please more The Office. I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how good it gets. I’m someone who watches the same shows over and over. And the office is #2 on my list after Seinfeld.
I wanted to work in an office at the time this premiered. Infact I just graduated a year before it aired. Like you Quinn I wanted to work as a secretary.
I implore you watch the whole series. One of those that must be watched at least once in your life. It was the entire reason I kept Netflix till they removed it
24:24 The side characters gradually do get more crazy / unique, to the point where Jim and Pam end up being the only "normal" characters left, but in a good way. My favorite side character is the old man "Creed."
Steve Carrell was not a big star when The Office came out in March 2005. But in August 2005 the 40 Year Old Virgin came out and he became a major star.
Continue! The first few episodes have an over-the-top awkward humor but I think the show is trying to find its footing. Over time, feel like the humor changes a bit and becomes more balanced. Also, the character development in this show is wonderful and the overall storyline is great. I think you guys will love it. ❤ I also recommend Parks & Rec!
The Office! The Office! Office!
Who's with me here?
Best show ever! ❤
The BEST IM SO HERE FOR IT
Okay, it's happening!!! Everybody stay calm! STAY F*****G CALM!

The slow motion bit was from "The Six Million Dollar Man" a famous old TV show

That scene lives rent free in my head and I’ve sent that as a meme so many times. It will never get old to me! 😂
LOL
Definitely recommend continuing this. Things really step up in the following seasons
Omg what a treat!!
1. My favorite show and 2. Love when y’all do reactions together ❤❤
I swear, you guys are too adorable together! ❤❤❤ I love this! And The Office? Great choice my you guys. No wonder you're laughing uncontrollably before the starting 😂

I'm so excited y'all are starting this series! I'm 1000 percent on board with this! Btw y'all are adorable when you're tipsy! Please react to the office!
Tou should definitely continue with the Office. That was just an intro to Michael Scott. The other characters are HILARIOUS
O . M . G. All the seasons of The Officeeeeeeee ?????!!!!! Couldn't have asked for a better surprise!!!! Yaaaasss!!!!!
If you don't pursue this TV series, the Gods of Rains will be displeased, remember! 😂😅
This show becomes addictive very quickly. My favorite show!

Before The Office, Steve Carell was somewhat known. He was one of the main correspondents on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
Jon Stewart was a genius in his own right. The Daly show was epic when John Stewart reigned. over it. He got away with so much.
man i love the office, you guys are gonna have fun!
Just like Friends, this show hits its stride later in Season 1 and is great from there.
Friends and The Office are the only comedy shows I know that don't become terrible in later seasons. Definitely the two best comedy shows of all time, in my opinion.
@@theoneandonlykk86 30 Rock and Parks & Rec were great right to the end. Scrubs too, if you don't count that last season (and we shouldn't).
Cap. Season 1 is hilarious.
I never caught on to The Office when it was on, I guess I'll have to power on through & discover it with Nick & look forward to the other seasons!
Omg what an awesome surprise! The Office is an absolute riot! Get through the first season and you have no idea the laughter that’s in store! Tbh...you don't have to be drunk to laugh at the Office. 😂😂
The first season is a bit jarring, before they smoothed out Michael a bit. a little lubrication probably can't hurt. 😉🥃
They’re not drunk, y’all believe anything
The Office, The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother...there's a reason they all were popular and lasted several seasons! Please, do them all!
From Season 2 it is the real deal, please continue this
HIMYM is not a rip off of FRIENDS. The life lessons you learn from it, the lines, the character arcs, everything is legen-wait-for-it-dary, LEGENDARY.
If Nick starts watching HIMYM, I will finally apply a credit card and become a member of his patreon 😅
More office, please!
That intro was hilarious I hope you continue this
Please continue!!
WE NEED THE OFFICE
omg I was literally just searching for reactions to The Office a couple days ago and now y'all are doing it??? I can't wait!
Steve Carell is just brilliant.
OMG YESSSS!!!! This is my favourite show of all time including friends I’m so glad you’re doing them😁❤️❤️
Yessss!! Weekly Office episodes please. It only gets crazier
The Office is so rewatchable, a million little jokes and inside things you get when you pay close attention. Example, Creed randomly dyes his hair black and then later someone mentions all the ink is missing from the printer.
Yes! The Office and Parks and Rec are my go to comfort shows lol❤
As someone who owns the full dvd sets of every sitcom you listed I can say without hesitation The Office is absolutely the best!!!!!
Oh yeah, the office is one of the best tv shows EVER
you guys are so adorable! i want you to keep laughing so…yes! PLEASE CONTINUE WATCHING THE OFFICE 🎉
Omg if you find season 1 funny you are on for a right treat! 😂
Another vote for the office. Its so endearing.
This was a blast to watch! Really hope you keep watching the Office!
Please do this series! It's one of the best comedy sitcoms of all time! You two are soooo adorable! Lol 🤣🥰
Apparently, the Diversity Day exercise Michael came up with was something one of the writers had to do in school.
Oh gosh! Please continue with this! The first season is super cringe and awkward, but it really gets much better after season 2! It’s so worth it.
pleaseeeee continue the office!!!
The office!!! YAAASSSS

Friends? Harry Potter? The Office? And all these amazing classic movies? Okay, you're officially the best RUclips reactor ever!
The Office is one of those shows that starts off moderately strong but gets really good as it goes on. I personally would say go for it.
edit: no spoilers, but as it goes on it does start focusing more on other characters and less on the awkward boss man.
oh my, continue watching!!! You're so funny reacting to this...
If you think everyone in the office is normal except Michael, you're really going to enjoy getting to know the others. 😅
Yes, YES! Please watch it. It's amazing.
More The Office
As you watch it the “off”characters become so much more amazing than they are im the first season. They are frequently frequently more interesting than the mains.
Steve first became kind of known when he did some reporter bits for the Daily Show on Comedy Central
The actors who played Ryan and Toby and Kelly were writers for the show which is why they are kept in a different part of the office so they could be writing on the go during filming.
You two are in for a ride, hope you enjoy it
we definitely need more of the office
forget what we think, you guys really seems to enjoyed it and that is the best part, laughing together thru the whole thing, so wholesome

Continue with the show. You guys won't regret it.
Very therapeutic to watch. Watching you two laugh is good for the soul.
You guys have such great chemistry together!! ❤
Much happiness to you both. 🎉
Oh there are definitely more crazy characters! They only seem normal now. Just wait, it gets better and better!
it's only episode 1 & 2 and i'm already looking foward for the 3-4 season! I'M SOOOOO HAPPY, THIS SHOW HAVE SO MANY ICONIC LINES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! can't wait
Please watch the whole thing. Season 1 is entirely based on the British version. The American originality really kicks in in S2
The Office is probably my favorite all-time comedy which is endlessly rewatchable. Outside of Twin Peaks, I can't think of a better choice.
YES! So happy you guys are covering this show. 100% worth the watch!! You both are going to love it ❤
Yes! Please continue with The Office! One of the best shows ever

Keep watching! One of the best tv shows 🤗
Pretty much everyone else on The Office was an unknown. But Steve was on The Daily Show, he was a vanity hire. And they nailed it, he's perfect.
That was a very enjoyable reaction with you too! Your laughter made me laugh even though I’ve seen the office like 30 times lol.
Absolutely keep watching the office! You’ll be so happy you did!
Theres lots of fun character development and lots of heart with the humor as it goes on 🤩
I can watch any episode any day any time, and it always lifts my mood.
You should go for the office!
YESSS more of The Office!! It's already hilarious just watching you guys crack up before you even played it hahah
Steve Carrell was not a big star when The Office came out in March 2005. But in August 2005 the 40 Year Old Virgin came out and he became a major star.
haha, love the drunk/high watches and especially watching The Office!
