Carmy has a lot to think about.
song?
@@planepaste1882 together by nine inch nails
I have to say this season has the greatest and most intense opening ever filmed and written. Seeing the flashbacks relating to Carmy’s journey as a chef and to where he is now really draws us into the show even more.
That's pushing it. I felt no intensity from this opening. It was just a montage of terribly edited and pieced together clips.
@@ComedyBros5 L take
@@kmcsounds25 Not at all. Explain to me the genius behind the random cuts to black?
@@kmcsounds25 This is coming from a huge fan of seasons 1 and 2. All I've seen is episode 1 of S3 so far and I wasn't happy with it. It was just more and more of what we already knew.
@@ComedyBros5 no, the Taken 2 fence jump scene is bad editing. This is good editing because it’s concise, gives you full clarity, whilst playing with time and allowing you to realize you’re looking at the past without telling you outright.
The whole episode should be on here- probably the best 30 minutes of TV all year
I just cried so much watching it.
I think this episode was a love letter to everyone who’s obsessed with this show… showcasing the beauty behind culinary arts, obsession with perfection, and the never ending chase of bettering one’s self. The soundtrack, the cinematography, the editing, everything about this episode is perfect. Thank you to everyone involved with the project. I now have a new favorite show ❤️
The score, the cinematography, every thing about this episode was perfection. Props to Chris Storer for his immense use of NIN, Trent's music makes everything better.
so its a score. Not an actual song.
This opening episode did an incredible job showing (and not telling us through exposition or dialogue) how Carmy became so good, how he compared to his peers, and why he turned into the difficult person he is in the kitchen. The use of Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross/NIN music through the seasons is just a cherry on top for me!
Living through this man’s trauma sparked mine and made me do some retrospection. This show is truly powerful
Can we talk about that episode with the mom and Sugar? I was bawling the entire time. It was so beautifully done, so REAL, I mean I had to pause and sit in silence. They truly felt like family. It also felt like her mom WAS meant to be there in the end, I mean the conversation they got to have, the way she surprisingly DID help Sugar find a way to stay calm. The way you can see through her mom's depression, her narcissism- and see why she is loved, you see the care and love in her, you realize her trauma really did her in. And this just IS what ended up happening to her, her family, and so on. That is life. It is complex. I just can't get over it.
The feels from this episode just hit different
This show is so good. First episode is stunning.
This episode is a Masterpiece
I loved this episode, OMG! this was a masterpiece, sound, visual, everything! I was so excited when this finished, and I watched it again like 3 times. OMG the best opening ever.
This show, Reservation Dogs and Snowfall is seriously one of the best shows to ever exist period! Thank you FX for making one of the best shows of all time! Bro Ice Chips episode was, when you guys get to it you'll see why it's my favorite episode!
Beautiful reflection! I could watch Episode 1 and 10 over and over again!
This is the best episode to me. How can a show so critically acclaimed for its dialogue also say so much with very few words?
I like how everything about this show is so honest about the craft, not just the cooking but the whole film craft aswell. Best Show series nowadays by far
Loved this entire season man can't wait for season four!❤
To everyone that says Claire and him don’t have a connection are not paying attention. She’s one of the few people who really know him and that’s a lot. Carmy needs to heal though
Yes and I agree with I can imagine if Carmy had a daughter wow that girl will be his healer just like Eminem daughter was.
And Carmy will be so successful and doing all this feeling better because of his daughter.
Well if that happened on any type of season like maybe 5 or 6 not 4.
The editing in this ep was levels
Even the choice of song is amazing. It's NIN Together, and nearly the entire episode he's alone in his head.
Love this episode, the music and everything was inmersive in carmy life and thougths
The piano song throughout this whole episode hits me to my deepest soul
Superb use of Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross. This episode was actually my favorite of the season, just so hypnotic and satisfying finally seeing Carmy's past.
I got into NIN because of this show. The ghosts albums are sick
This whole episode was poetry.
My favorite episode of the season
The cinematography was so beautiful in this episode 🥹 I loved it
I rewatch this episode just about every two weeks. I’m no chef, but a writer, and this episode perfectly captured what it’s like to reflect on the journey while standing at the precipice of what might be either your triumph or complete undoing.
Absolutely brilliant.
Best episode of the season hands down!
This intro got me hyptnotized
Those three windows Carmy was looking through at the beginning almost look like the windows from the apartment Sydney rents later in the season.
If you don't like this episode Ifeel sorry for you. This is one of the most unique episodes of television Ihave ever watched, it made me feel Carmen and his journey.
What's the name of the soundtrack? It's one of the best episodes I have ever watched.
The whole episode revolves around two tracks from Nine Inch Nails. The one you hear in this scene is called ‘Together’.
The other song is called ‘Hope we can again’
@@GabVall Thanks!
Best FX show expect snowfall, but all their shows hit different, FX 🔛🔝
I love Atlanta but no show will ever meet up with snowfall
Claire was a mistake. Idc what anyone says. Let that man heal and if it’s meant to be they’ll find each other again.
they literally have no connection it just isn't there her character was so pointless its a shame
She wasn’t a mistake. Regardless of whether they end up back together it’s a very valuable lesson for Carm.
Tbh, the show could thrive without any romance from Carmen.
Plus I never believed she was an ER doctor. She is way too mellow....it takes a Type A person.
@@aiai-j7i -- You've been watching too much television.
Most doctors who work in high pressure environments appear cool as cucumbers until there is a need for them to flip into high gear. Those who can't handle themselves emotionally while under pressure don't cut it. There's a good reason why there's a high prevalence of those who are on the anti-social personality disorder spectrum (especially psychopath) who are successful as surgeons and emergency room doctors. In situations where others would implode or explode, they're marginally affected. That's because, when it comes down to it, another human's physical and emotional agony actually barely registers to them.
goosebumps
Honestly when I first saw this, I was afraid Carly would set everything on fire. He always looks that tense.
Please upload the whole episode
I need this song!!!!
Together by Nine Inch Nails.
Can someone help me find this beautiful soundtrack.
Can someone please tell me where I can find this soundtrack. It just feels so heavenly and motivational

It's called Together by Nine Inch Nails.
What is the song that plays all episode long!?
Together - Nine Inch Nails
I think it’s original score from Reznor and Ross
@@ShafOne519yes this is correct! they worked with them on a score especially for the series
@@ShafOne519 No it’s from the album Ghosts V- Together which released way back in 2020.

Not sure what the director was thinking with this one. The whole episode just kept repeating the same NIN song, which got pretty old pretty quickly, the soundtrack never let up (you gotta leave at least some room to breathe), and the flow was off with the cuts for the commercial breaks. There's definitely a good way to do this episode, but this wasn't it.
Season 3 had the best opening and worst ending as well
What’s the name of the song in the background??
Together- Nine Inch Nails

Song?
Anyone know the song here?
"Together" by Nine Inch Nails
Anyone know the music?
Nine Inch Nails - Together
@@KnighTTimer98 tyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
NIN composing this episode is epic.
They didn't compose for this episode. The song is from one of their Ghost albums.
What's the music?
I’m pretty sure it’s Trent Reznor, but not sure if it was scored for the episode or was from one of his albums (NIN, etc)
It's a song piece called Together by Nine Inch Nails.
@@ExtravaganTV thx
@@stevengrote3340 Apparently both
First episode was good. Then all downhill from there
PLEASE STOP MAKE CLAIRE LEAVE THE SHOW, NOBODY WANTS HER IN THIS STORY 😒
nah
I don't mind Claire...
@@eight_trackYeah of course you don't lol she's a dream girl written by a man sort of character. Simps love her normal people see through it
She was in the show just the right amount. Just enough for Carmy to have some character development.
NIN
I love the Bear. Being from Chicago and witnessing how great the city plays into the show is just 🤌🏼
NIN Ghost V
It's an interesting show. It's fun to watch the restaurant stuff. The way they talk is weird, kind of halting and I don't know, unnatural. No one I know talks like that. The guy who plays the guy in the suit that runs the dining room is really talented. So is Jeremy. I don't like the black girl in this, she's too stuck up and unlikeable. She's prob not like that in real life but I don't like how she is in the show. Carmy's sister is kind of obnoxious too but she's ok. The black guy who just lost his mother is very good, very real and understated actor. I've worked in restaurants. It's not really quite they are depicting but whatever. It's still entertaining. The background music at times is ok but at times is weird and detracts like they are trying to hard. And the coke a cola being in the show and them sponsoring the show was a mistake, i mean to put coca cola in the show to advertise it. yuck. good luck guys. may your show survive and well as your imagined restaurant. Bon appetite
oh yea, and i dislike Clare, his girlfriend. fakey yucky
This season was ok.
Constant anxiety and mixed emotions.
Forced acting in a few spots.
It was just ok.
Whoever edited this was high on PCP.
What?
I loved this episode and spent the entire episode searching for who did the background music when this episode aired. lol.
Didn’t figure it out until the next day.
