Great sensitive recap ❤ I loved this episode so much, also watched it after rewatching season 2 finale... I suffer from depression and very lonely now, and the poignant feel to these 2 episodes, the atmosphere, really hit deep in my soul. I love Carmy, so multi-facated, so real, damaged, raw, yet gentle. What an inspiring show that deals the true meterials of connections and life these days.
Best episode of the season imo. The decision to play Together by NIN once more during season finale brought everything in together beautifully. As viewers we're left hanging much like Carmy and the crew after receiving the review at season end. As much as we want everything to be alright and amends to be made, we very well might get an ending to Carmys character in the same vein as Mikeys'. It's heartbreaking how destructive misguided creativity can become if things go awry.
I am not familiar with the EMMYs rules like I am the Oscar’s but I think because the music wasn’t made for the show it makes it ineligible. If it was made for the show then I am on board that this should be showered in awards because the music is so captivating.
I couldn’t agree more it felt so fitting to have the chaos in the finale be followed by this reflective episode. I thought it was incredibly moving and brilliantly compliments the season 2 finale.

It was lovely to see the arc of his character just in the progression of tattoos. Exquisite TV.
Excellent analysis! Loving season 3 so far, the first episode was a masterpiece

Why this incredible piece of music by NIN wasn't nominated for an EMMY, I will just never understand.

great video, man! So glad to hear your thoughts on such a fantastic episode!
Thank you so much this video took so long to make but I wanted to do a really good video on this episode.

Thank you so much!!!
Following up the s2 finale with this was heavily poignant.

@kaneeddy the score really lent to the "how we got here" feeling too. Brilliant indeed.
CINEMA
A very useless episode. You just want it to end.
Really? I felt very much like it was a "how we got here" episode. Very much enjoyed it.
@@Tietzy81 They could've just done a 2 minute recap.
But that would have been boring. This was a beautiful character piece expressed purely through visuals. Evokes silent cinema
@carlingari8850 there is far too much to cover in 2 minutes. I'm not disagreeing with your take at all, but I thought it was arranged well.
@@frasermccready8238 At the expense of the viewer? That episode should have been an extra. It was like a filibuster
