Do not use the loot filter if you have siegebreaker, he got a talent that makes it so you cant cap out, and istead every extra trip a boat takes has a chance to upgrade the chest
Very true, the only thing to keep in mind is the new chest will override the lowest loot value chest currently in the loot pile. So if you're using beginner boats on Safari Island with low loot value, the higher value chests from Beachy Coast will delete any chance at gaining Safari Fruits.
Thank you, glad to be back as well! Was out travelling for work for a while, but back now and working on releasing World 5 content. Let us know if there is anything in World 5 that you would like to see covered.
@@NocturneGamingOfficial I just love these no nonsense, concise, detailed guides. I feel like no one else is doing this for idleon. It's all hacky RUclipsr bullshit and forty minute character showcases that are completely absorbed in the meta. These guides are the ones I always look out for because they're clear, simple, and informative. There's no futzing around. Keep it up, plz.
Hey what's the trick to actually getting an artifact because 1.2% chance seems oddly low I'm where you are when this vid came out just missing some ancients that you got
The only way you can improve your chances is with the relic "Fauxory Tusk" and using Captains with artifact find chance. Otherwise, just spam the island with as many boats as you can.
Got lucky and found it, it is called Sad Past by Silent Partner: ruclips.net/video/S01WrH0T2iU/видео.htmlsi=_F_MW9d-PDPvotDz I am lucky in this way when playing Idleon as well.
What are the different ways to get more chests stacked up? I see you have like 11, but mine maxes out at 5. Is the gem shop the only way to increase that?
The Dream Catcher Artifact from Candied Island will also give up to +4 max chests in the loot pile. Other than that, it is the Gem Shop purchases to upgrade further.
There is not a specific guide that I know of, but a few quick tips for you: 1. Focus on 1 island at a time until you get enough resources to upgrade your boat's speed until you can get to the next island in minimum time. Each island will require more so don't be afraid of spending more time at each island. 2. Focus on islands that give either time gated benefits or sailing gains. (Fury Relic, Gold Relic, Gummy Orb, Amberite, Fauxory Tusk, Genie Lamp, Arrowhead, 10 AD tablet) 3. Upgrade 1 boat at a time per resource. (If you look at Boats 2, 3 and 5 - they all require the same safari fruit from the first island)
Once you can get the Emerald Relic, you can sell off materials. The higher island material, the higher the price you can sell for. I focused on leveling my first 4 boats up and anything that uses rare materials I ignored for level up. I send all my boats to the highest place I can go, and then sell off my materials for gold. That let me unlock many more boats and captain slots, and continue to upgrade my first boat with gold. I keep opening boats, and even through I can only go 200m with the latest unlocked boat (because I haven't unlocked the later islands to upgrade boat speed), I can still send it to Beachy Coast or earlier, thus I'm still getting materials and artifact chance.
@techwolf359 has very good advice here, as I also sold some materials to buy new boats. Another thing to keep in mind is chest management, like checking for loot more frequently or if you are unable to check as often then setting your chest quality filter to a higher tier. With the release of the Siege Breaker talents the chest filter is less useful, but prior to the update it really helped me gain more resources each day when I was unable to open chests every couple of hours.

1:20 this is not true. Distance and time shown on the map are for a full trip, not one way.
Thank you for pointing this out! You are correct, time listed is for a round trip, not one way.

A song starts at 22:00 which is not listed in your credits, I'm trying to find this song.

I think it's Sad Past - Silent Partner

Is there any efficiency guide to sailing? As to what benefits to focus first or concentrate and the extra bonuses before going for another?

How have you got so many boats? My sailing is about the same level but only have about 6 boats

Probably miles, not meters.
Probably, but we may never know!
