    We have a 2022 Jayco 22a. We love it!! We don’t lose any feature when the coach is in road mode. We keep our Jayco blue “file” above the open storage area above the microwave. Regarding an outlet not above the “counter”, we have never found the need for one in that location. We don’t bring a coffee maker, as we don’t like the space it would take up on travel days. We use a pour over device for making coffee. Small, lightweight AND better tasting coffee! We also love the dinette for playing games!

    I really like the first rv, the Jayco RedHawk. The bed looks comfortable with a thick mattress and it’s always in the “bed” position! I also like the shower, which has a shower curtain on a track. I don’t like that it has a double sink in the kitchen! It only needs a single sink compartment, which would make more counter room for prep or a coffee maker. I wish Jayco would place two comfortable recliners with small tables, in place of the dinette! Good size refrigerator. Overall, a nice camper!

      We agree! But we can't move the slides at RV Shows or dealerships. We aren't allowed to at RV Shows and RVs on the dealer lots have no power. It don’t matter which setup you want or need but their all still over priced. I can’t see paying 75k on something to use now and then or to live in. And let’s all realize they’re not built to last a lifetime. They’re nice when you buy them but over time they start falling apart with on the bumps and pot holes in our roads now days. I considered buying one and then I started seeing people who wished they never would have bought their cause of constant maintenance. So I decided to keep myself simple with a tent for travels.

    • @RVBlogger
      @RVBlogger  8 месяцев назад +2

      You make some valid points - RVs are way overpriced which is why we say negotiate like crazy or buy used. And you are correct. RVs are not built for full timers. They are built for the average family who uses their RV for a week long vacation once a year and maybe a few weekend trips besides that. They are not engineered for full time use and many say that in their owners manuals.
      Thanks for watching and I hope you at least have an inflatable mattress in your tent! (unless you are camping in the winter months)
      Mike

      @@RVBlogger and another thing that people do is when they leave their homes and into complete RV lifestyle they want to take everything they owned from a 3 or 4 bedroom home and pack it so tight in their RV that it puts a lot of stress on the frames of them and then they wonder why the frame bend or break. Well duh that’s because you over load them. I also am not a big fan of slide outs. Yes they add a lot of extra room in them but there is quite a bit of work in keeping the slides clean and free of dust and debris. I believe that 90% of the issues that people have are caused by them and not the manufacturers.
      No I don’t use air mattresses because they’re not designed to use a lot either. I have a cot with a 4 inch memory foam mattress I put on top of it.
      Great video tho. Thanks for sharing all the info

    You know what would be cool, a Murphey bed up in the front instead of a dinnet table and a bed in the back and the shower floor expanded by a few more inches and the toilet a bit more away from the wall.
    Simple innovations that the RV companies don't really think about because if you think about it all RVs are nothing but the same cookie cutter design with different pricing but with
    Things simply moved around. In other words you are simply getting ripped off.

    • @RVBlogger
      @RVBlogger  7 месяцев назад

      LOL! Quite the cynic! But it is kinda true. If you have ever tried to remodel an RV you would quickly discover that every time you move something you have to move something else and it creates a chain reaction because of the unintended consequences. So the designers are a little restricted as to what they can do. But there is always room for improvement.

      Hello again. Great question! I used RVTrader.com to research RVs with specific features. I did a nationwide search for Class C RVs with King beds and have the link for you. Unfortunately I don't know of a good filter for interior ceiling height so if you see something you like you will have to go to the manufacturers website to see if they list it.
      Here's the link: www.rvtrader.com/Class-C/rvs-for-sale?keyword=king%20bed&type=Class%20C%7C198069&zip=21122&radius=10000&sort=relevance%3Adesc
      Hope it helps you out!
