great videos, thank you for sharing. two comments. first: how much golf do you play and secondly, you did not need to cut the PVC tubing, it would have "self" formed to the curve of the combing of the boat. JD
Yeah, I thought about it, but I would have had to put a smaller tube for the rigging tube in, or run it through the middle and put some weird bends in it, or do more fiberglass work under the deck that I didn't touch. So I just went with the 2 inch tube and put it back on the side :) lol
Yeah, but the whole pipe is outside anyway, and water that gets in, will leak out anyway, so doesn't really matter. It's only there to channel the wires from the back to the front
I see those gray, plastic brackets failed and broken all the time. They are weak, and are quickly degraded by UV light. You should probably use brackets that are not prone to such quick degradation and weakening. They won't last a year. At least paint them, to give them UV protection. Even with paint, they are weak and brittle.
Great content, but I really think you could use better conclusions for your videos. Maybe a catch phrase, but definitely a money shot summarizing what you accomplished would be great

@anthonymannarino3376 I'm sure you could! Anything could be fabricated and fitted, just takes time and money lol Not right now, we've got too many boats already on the list at the moment to commit to anymore jobs :/ sorry about that. Are you against rewiring yourself?
Man I love watching everything you do but this externally mounted rigging tube is ghetto. Could you not have run it through the gunnel when you had the transom all torn up?
One thing I know for sure, that boat ugly as hell with that console in the bow and wondering how stable it is with the captain and his buddy standing up there.
@eagle5720 no lol that's just a Bully netter for lobster, it's specifically built for the flats and going out in the back country. It's so you can stand up front and look directly through the water for whatever you're looking for. If I don't end up selling it, I built it to take out in the back country down in the lower keys.
I use pvc too for control wiring.
Thanks for the content, the project is turning out great.
Thank you!
If you don't want to use a heat gun, plug the end and put hot water inside to soften it, next time.
I like it!

Acetone takes the red writing off
Why didn’t you put the pipe under the floor, would of been a lot easier and less work.

Or you forgot…?
This project definitely deserves a 150 Verado 😎
Just heat it up it will follow the contour
I would have put the tube in the hull
What do you use for covering up outboard rigging directly off the outboard?
Spiral wrap or just zip ties to keep it clean and together
That's the problem with foam-filled hulls! No space for the cables and stuff!
You solution is cheap but it does the trick.
Thank you!
Something I don't quite understand: the gap in the pipe (where you're cutting it) will remain open? Why would you want that?
Yeah, but the whole pipe is outside anyway, and water that gets in, will leak out anyway, so doesn't really matter. It's only there to channel the wires from the back to the front
What is the pipe for? Did I miss something?
Hey! It's the rigging tube for the wires to go to the back for the engine, lights, bilge pump, etc
@@BornAgainBoating Keep up the good work, I watch your vids all the time and missed the intro!
@@daisybeagle6259 no worries! Thanks for watching!

Surprised you didn’t put the rigging tube in the deck before you foamed and glassed the deck back down.

I am an autobody tech, but man, I like working on boats. Wish I could work with you brother. That would be fun.
Maybe one day!
@@BornAgainBoating
Maybe. God bless!
Hey, are you guys in pompano
Hey, no, we're a little north of that in the sebastian area
O ok.
Can you fit a Bimini top on flats boat. With flush clips. Have w 21 ft flats boat.
And do you do wireing clean ups.

This thing is really coming along!
Thank you!

I would have had to put a smaller tube, and I didn't want to do that, so yea, opted for the ghetto rig
@@BornAgainBoating still love ya anyway!
That rigging tube will leak
WHY????
👍👍👍👍
Saw horse…
I don’t know what a boat rigging tube is.
It's for the rigging to the engine and wires for electrical components to go to the back where the battery is
PVC and UV do not play well together.
Nope :(
One thing I know for sure, that boat ugly as hell with that console in the bow and wondering how stable it is with the captain and his buddy standing up there.
Lol and by that I assume you mean she's gorgeous ;)
@BornAgainBoating That's going to be your boat to cruse around? You as top Tech should have build something really fast n kool lol
