Hi Kari, I was curious how do your apply the Stila putty highlighters? I have a couple of them and I just don't feel like I know how to apply them. Those Bobbi Brown highlighters are beautiful, I've been thinking about trying one for awhile. Great declutter!
For the Stila putty highlighters (which I absolutely love) I use a dense or firm bristle brush. Finger application works well too. I've also seen people apply them with a sponge, but haven't personally tried it that way.
I use a larger Real techniques brush. Its more dense than a standard fluffier highlighting brush. Don't usually use my fingers. The Bobbi Brown highlighters are some of my favorite. I think they provide a beautiful mature finish to the skin.
I still have Moonphase from MakeupGeek (RIP) and Unicorn from KIKO (of course they discontinue the only funny light blue highlighter they ever had, because why not??? T.T Damn) but luckily I have my plan B... duochrome eyeshadows. XD My Neve cosmetics eyeshadows are ginormous so I can use them as face products, I have Matcha (light green), Pollen (golden green, great for inner corners and halo eyes), Unicorn (a more subdued neutral with still some green peeking through) and Wow (a purple with a big light blue shift)... basically all my highlighters are weird AF. I may have to declutter that cute highlighter from Catrice More than glow something... it's a lovely gift from a makeup swap I have with a friend online, but I feel... why you cannot be a funny alien/mermaid/underworld queen highlighter??? Why you have to be normal??? X'D

Be more creative with your makeup, I had to force myself out of my everyday face and try something different each day
