"Mud Crab is inspired by where I grew up in Australia. It's an accumulation of stories of people from around here. A lot of the stuff is pulled from real life and people I know. I curated stories into a character that says what I want to say about a place". - Director David Robinson-Smith
Somehow reminds me of Balcony (2015)
Very David Michod in the VoiceOver. Quite a lot of Animal Kingdom and Crossbow in this. Maybe a little too much. The score is a little pretentious and trying too hard to be melancholy. It's distracting.
