Bill Bolcom and Joan Morris here. We salute you, Andrew Dwan.. Joan laughed and then cried at George's fate. Me too. Very few singer-singers would have the nerve to do what you did, or the acting and movement training. What is interesting in "George" is, during the piano solo where the singer usually mugs and mimes George, you did nothing -- which is right because you've done so much else that milked every possible laugh -- a brave and wise decision. Bravo and thanks!

I saw joan Morris and her husband Composer/pianist in concert, William Balcom, in Loveland Colorado in the 1980s. As a voice teacher, the performance was stunning and very memorable. My students have enjoyed singing the songs I heard that night, including the Turn of the Century titles. Thank you Joan Morris and William Balcom!

Thanks for respecting George and not making him a travesty. The sadness at his death was there- nice interpretation.

Dear Andrew, of all the performances of Amor I've watched, your interpretation is by far the best! You give me inspiration for when I will perform it myself! Thank you!

It's fun to see a man sing "Amor," especially with such campy aplomb! Great job! All of the songs were performed with incredible theatrical skill. Keep it up! I sang "Amor" myself and always felt a bit self conscious for doing so. Now I want to sing it again. I also especially enjoy singing "The Story of Black Max." Great song!

I'm glad I came across this version of "Amor," I sang it years ago it was a lot of fun. You do some wonderful things with interpretation Andrew, much more than I did. I'm not sure if I'll perform it again but if I do you'll be an inspiration. I also like to sing."
