Me too! Being old for me, means I’m on a fix income and the funds are not in the budget. I did go to Ireland in my youth and didn’t want to leave. I have land in Scotland. A 10x10 wee plot in Glencoe as part of the Highland Title.
My great aunt Ursula lived near the plague rooms in Edinburgh. As a child my mother swears she played with a young girl called Pearl in the garden of Ursula's house. She was dressed in old fashioned blouse and kirtle. My mother says she played ball with her and she would throw it back. The family said she was imagining this. She thinks Pearl was a ghost who possibly died during the epidemic. This was 1929.
I did the waults tour some 7 years ago and the person i was with she was recording sound on her phone and we got a voice saying HI. I believe she sent you the recording.
I was on the Bloody McKenzie tour, a few people had recording equipment, while standing near the mausoleum their equipment went dead. From full charge to nothing
Unfortunately, we have no idea. It's a shame that it's been closed for so long, but if you're itching to visit a nearby underground attraction, the Blair Street Underground Vaults would love to welcome you!

Thank you! Nicola, the Storyteller who narrated this video, is brilliant, if we do say so ourselves! 😄

I lived with my Grandmother and went to school in Edinburgh. It's still the most beautiful place I've seen.

I'm fortunate enough to live on the Royal Mile. You can feel the history and something else I can't quite articulate.
I love Edinburgh, can’t wait to go back.
I always loved the story of the Wizard of West Bow.
