  • This video documents the process of releasing free-range local hens on a piece of land that includes banana, coffee, and maize crops. The land is fenced to provide a secure environment for the hens, allowing them to forage naturally and contribute to the ecosystem. The video highlights the benefits of integrating poultry with crop cultivation, including pest control and soil fertility enhancement.support our ongoing community programs, and donate using the following ;

    Great to see the Chicken farm progressing so well.
    Chickens also eat Crickets, Worms, Grubs, Beetles, Flies and other insects which helps the maize/corn grow reduce any damage to the plants. It is better than using pesticides to stop insect damage to food crops.

    Hello and God bless! Lovely to see the chickens running free. I hope they don't damage the crops too much with their scratching. I am unsure if you have eagles and hawks there but I needed to put up some cover in various parts of the field so the chickens had safety from the air. Thank you for sharing your journey.

    Love to see this! We used to have chickens and I couldn't believe how many nasty bugs they ate (and turned into delicious eggs- haha). This is a win, win, win situation! Your eggs, and by extension those eating them, the hens, and the land are all healthier using this method. Thank you for sharing everything going on there. Prayers for continued blessing from the Lord. 🙏❤

    we encouraged raising chickens in our nutrition village when I worked in Africa years ago. The problem with letting chickens roam is twofold: One, you really can't fence out the feral dogs and other predators. Two: they will lay eggs outside, which also can be eaten or broken. So we taught moms how to use cages so they could harvest the eggs for their malnourished kids.
