I was an England net bowler at this Test Match, I remember knocking Tim Curtis’s off pole out of the ground in the nets. I thought to myself, good luck against Malcolm Marshall 😂
Hello Wayne, thanks again for your support. Hope you enjoy England's one home Test Victory from between September 3rd, 1985 to July 10th, 1990. Have a great weekend, DARREN
Great watching these '88 West Indies team taking care of England under Viv. Greenidge and Haynes still the best opening partnership seen, IMO. Looked a fairly long tail here:relying on WK DUJON (a former bat), Harper and Maco. Too good for this oppo.
This was a very good West Indian side but probably not quite as good as the early 1980’s version lead by Lloyd. The opposition didn’t require them to go to another level. The BBC commentary team were peerless.
The diminutive Logie :)) Respect. Played his part. Hooper. Average of 35 or so. The most stylish 35 average surely. Elegance personified.
Hooper under-achieved in test cricket. He had enormous talent
Thank-you.
What brilliant Open partnership from Desmond and greenidge l think young west Indies batting should learn
