EDIT: We did finally catch the shiny Vulpix on encounter 18 doing this method. While doing this method for vulpix we encountered a random shiny stantler full odds and got it as well. Also caught a shiny sneasel doing this method as well. In the stream on twitch we got 3 shinies. Will try to post clips of the successes here in a bit.
Thanks for the explanation on how to find shinies easier! I just wish outbreaks happened more often.
You can trigger them if you just leave town and go back, rinse and repeat and they will trigger. Just how bad you want it
