What's it you've done to your graphics? I swear I can see things better in your video than I can my own gameplay. I currently have just about everything cranked up to max, minus any kind of motion blur.
Bought the game when I saw it was getting revived and rebranded, curious to see what is going to happen. I am personally still prefer HLL and that is for me more in the graphical, I can see that some of the core mechanics make more sense in this game though so very curious to see how it will progress from here.
the graphics in squad 44 are decent enough for me who is also a graphic nerd

@@tavish4699 Hell let loose has potential to be better just not until they fix the audio and how light the combat feels imo. Wouldn’t call it realistic just for that reason. Seems folks want me to argue about WW2 games though but everyone’s opinion is subjective. Just play what you like I’m not here to convince anyone anything haha.
Once you experienced the PS sound effects you can never go back to HLL, cause it then sounds like an airsoft battle
Squad 44 is simply more fun as it has less weapon systems & vehicle gameplay. I personally enjoyed squad more when it had no vehicles back in beta testing. Infantry only gameplay is sooo much better than having tanks & apc's firing at you from miles away. WW2 had vehicles, but the infantry combat was soo much more tense because it wasnt filled with full auto machine guns everywhere.

Twas out there for the last four years. Same old PS just got rebranded. Thats it. There's nothing new about it.
The idea is they might change the game to fit squads mechanics or combat systems and I’m begging OWI to not do that. Who knows what they’ll do, but thanks for watching ❤️.
HLL is far better, PS used to be good. Even the revamped Squad 44 is still a bit meh.
HLL has a much higher level of atmostphere and visuals, its just that more detailed with intense fights that makes it a winner. Squad 44 needs to improve its movment clunkiness and the interiors of the houses.
It’s the differences that make these game’s unique. Clunky to you is realistic weight and inertia to me. Tomato/ potato either way it’s a good WW2 vegetable. Thanks for watching ❤️

Completely disagree.
HLL has much worse atmosphere and while the textures are better, the lighting is way worse. Lighting in Squad 44 feels so much more real making everything look more real, compensating for worse environment textures.
Sound design in Squad 44 is also on another level. And dolby atmos for headphones works perfectly well with it, adding to immersion - whereas it doesn't work with HLL, leaving you with flat horrible stereo.
Squad 44 is just significantly more immersive and fun.
In HLL, no one uses a mic. It's just dead silent, which completely destroys the atmosphere. It's weirdly quiet.
There's no sense of everyone working together. It just feels like I'm playing with AI.
Whereas in Squad 44, it feels alive. You hear people talking, and it completely changes the game in terms of realism, cooperating and coordinating with your teammates. It feels like we are truly in many close-knit cooperative squads, all working together as part of a team. Not just a bunch of silent bots all moving towards the same direction but nothing more, which is my experience of HLL.
That makes it feel like a real battle, and significantly more immersive and fun/engaging.
HLL feels like it is supposed to be a mil-sim, but it falls flat in that respect which results in it feeling arcadey. Its stuck between both but does neither satisfyingly well.
So it just feels like an unrealistic un-immersive mil sim, and a boring arcade shooter.
I'd rather play BF2042 or BF1, let alone Squad 44.
Granted, I haven't played too much of it yet, but these are my first impressions coming from Squad 44. No good. Really don't know how people could possibly say HLL is better in any way other than environment textures. (Other textures such as the guns look better in Squad 44 / or at least they look more realistic, but that could be in part due to the superior lighting, which makes the whole game look more real).
I'm hoping it will grow on me, but straight away I have experienced these stark differences. It's night and day.
If HLL doesn't grow on me the more I play it, I'll just have to leave it. Just isn't for me in that case. Squad 44 really is the ultimate WW2 mil sim as it stands, and I can't wait to see how they improve upon it moving forward.

What makes this game better than hell let loose in your opinion? I just started playing HLL a week ago and i absolutly love it. But the thing is i play xbox and have for over 2 decades now and have never been a PC gaming; so even if i wanted to really i couldent play this game

I would really like to buy this game, but a strictly multi-player game with 500 average active players is what? Like 5 servers? It's not worth the $30 they want when you can only play at peak time.

I gave this a try and just couldn't get into it. I prefer Hell Let Loose. The gunplay, visibility and gamplay just feel better than Squad 44.

Also, how can you be a WW2 shooter and not have the largest front (the east), the largest battle (Stalingrad) or the largest army (USSR) represented
I agree, however Hell Let Loose has great eastern front maps. RIP to tripwire making another red orchestra, it would’ve been beautiful 🥲. Maybe one day squad44 will add the eastern theater. 🤞🏼

Game suffers from dumbgamium nameius. Post Scriptum sounds like something who doesnt know English that well and says 'its latin so it must sound cool'. I like the game but feel it wouldve been more popular if it was called Squad44 or Frontline: Western Front or Firefight: Fortress Europe etc etc.

Debatable, I find its an ugly and unoptimized lag fest.
I requested a refund on Squad and Squad 44. Truly horrible games with terrible design no matter how much time has been sunk into them. The most apathetic playerbase out there.
I would say the opposite but that’s your experience and it is valid! Check out some of my videos and I wouldn’t say apathetic, not anymore or less from battlefield or call of duty. These games are not for everyone and I prefer people just have their opinions and play games they like. How you decide to spend your time means nothing to me, but if I’m leading you in a squad, I’m making sure I’m doing my part to give the squad and myself a good time while playing the game. Your idea of horrible game design is interesting to me, it’s literally battlefield but with teamwork and organized strategy. Not sure what your talking about in that aspect.
