I went up there sometime in the 80's. Lots of trail erosion since then from what I remember. Daisies...invasive species. I can't remember those in the 80's but not surprised...and they are golden mantled ground squirrels. Not chipmunks
So beautiful. Trail was in much snow(over 20 cm), which was not what we expected due to the weather forecast. Goodness It is still deep winter. But we enjoyed the hiking. It's a lovely place. We are going to come back here next summer season, not snowing time.
Great views from there but quite the work out thats for sure, It's also the highest point on the trans canada trail. a good spot for photos. I cleared out all the lower brush towards the start of that trail and some dead fall further up, but it gets so much use there was not much for me to do.
Thanks so much Dave for the work you do on these trails. I just read today that's it's the highest point on the Trans Canada Trail. It definitely was a good workout😊😊😊
As always beautiful! Enjoyed watching 😊
Thank you Marco, for watching and commenting😁

Thanks for watching and commenting Rick, Cheers😁
Interesting trail forest / floor vegetation. Always kind of stiffen up on the alpine meadows with all the yummy plants and all……
Lots of mushrooms as well😁😁😁

@EmmaLead11 I was watching it with a friend yesterday and when that part came up, I said to him it wasn't a little hike🤣🤣🤣
