- It's been one year since we started our tiny house build, here on the homestead on the hill. In this video we show our progress over the last year. We are working towards a more self-reliant, self-sustainable life in the Klein Karoo region in the southern part of South Africa.
It's looking amazing! I'm not totally sure why RUclips recommended me y'all's channel but I'm glad I got to see the progress made over the past year. Hopefully this next year is just as productive for y'all
Great progress and excellent workmanship. The quality of work is precise and perfect. One of these days we hope to visit you and see it in person.
Well done 👏.......like what you doing......and you are doing everything yourself...
Thank you. And learning as we go!
I love that you've put the whole process in one video. So amazing to see what you guys have accomplished on your own. Congratulations on your first year!❤
Amazing what you have done. Envy.
Well done. Baie Goed werk
Nice job. Proud of you both!
Hey guys, well done, you are such an inspiration. Love your videos and love the way you present them, please don't stop I know I can't wait for your next update.
@@GrahamClacher Thank you, I appreciate your comment. I prefer making a more documentary style of video, I don't really like talking to the camera.
Hi good luck to you both. Keep it up. Take care and great videos.
Thanks!
Very nice way to see the progress, Hein. Jy kan trots wees.
South Africa looks like New Mexico in the states.
...and a lot like northern Nevada. We're a tad colder up here...
Klein Karoo, small part of the bio diversity in ZA...
ZA goes from Desert, to Mountains, to Sub Tropics, to Bosveld (Bushveld), to even some Grasslands ...
@@kobusloubser3426 wow sounds spectacular. We have mountains too. No grasslands unfortunately. Would love to see it one day!
Wanneer kryy ond nuwe video?
It is amazing how far you guys have come. The Karoo is a tough place to build. Hats of for the 2 of you!
Thank you! The beauty of our surroundings makes up for all the hardships.
