Hello Eric, your review was so persuasive that I just ordered the book! I also love the colour blue. ❤

Hi Eric, if you loved Bluets, you might find the books by Michel Pastoureau interesting. He wrote a couple of monographs, each on a single colour, less personal but more about their use throughout history, in the visual arts as well as for everyday objects, how the attitude towards and the symbolic meaning of a given color change throughout history and across cultures etc... with a lot of great illustrations. I presented his book 'Green' in my video on top 10 non-fiction books of 2023

Ooh thank you for the code! I was already eyeing tickets but will definitely book them now 😊 To be honest, I was mainly drawn in by Ben Whishaw (who I love) but it is also a great excuse to pick up this book I have been meaning to read for a while!

That cover! 💙💙💙 I so wish I could go see the play but alas, I’m across the pond. But I did find that Bluets is free with my Audible membership, so I’ve added it to my queue for when I’m done with my current listen, How to Say Babylon (loving it). If I enjoy Bluets, I’ll purchase the UK hardcover! Blue is my favorite color.

@@Rosiemayj Hi again, I just tried using the code myself. After I selected tickets and went to the basket there's a box on the right where you can enter a New Season early bird offer. I put in Lreader15 and clicked apply code and it shows a reduced price with a specified savings before checking out. So it definitely seems to be working. Can you try it again?

The Waves, instead, didn't catch me enough and found it a tad boring and slow paced. But, I might have not read it in the proper moment of my life. However, watched the movie and found it well done and perhaps better than the novel. Though it laid a bit on the very reflexive side. Liked a lot Orlando, instead, of Woolf. But will look about Bluets, and see if I'll go through it or not. Thanks anyway, for your comment and recommendation. 😊👍🙏
