I really like your suggestion for the takeaway and practicing it with an extended alignment stick on the handle of the club. This will definitely give one a feed back on whether or not it is being done properly! Well Done Jon!
Fantastic video Jon, easy to follow tip that really helps me start my swing correctly. Also great to have fewer swing thoughts, look forward to getting unlocked on the course in the Spring? Please keep up the videos.
Hi Jon. Thanks for helping all battlers out here. Do you recommend CONSCIOUSLY hinging the wrist at a particular moment or allow nature to hinge them. Ben Hogan wrote thqt the weight of the club naturally hinges the wrist??
Hi Jon, thank you for this demonstration. does the leading left forearm rotates (slightly) when the club is parallel to the ground at waist high? Thank you
Apologies for the delayed response. There is some forearm rotation for sure. Many over do this and or over hinge the wrists bringing the club way inside and open.
Nice....when you say take the club back with the left arm should I feel like my swing is starting with the left side in control of the swing? I've watched lots of golf videos over the years and your site is the first one that I've bookmarked. Just started watching your videos and must say that I'm impressed with your instruction.
Thanks Tommy, for me the controlling part is the chest, turning away from the target, I was just suggesting the left arm should stay connected, close to the chest.
Don't know who's the wanker that gave this a thumbs down, but this is solid gold! When I get out of sorts, I do the level should turn and then have to whip my shoulders open on the downswing, can you say hello slice or pull! I like that I can do it just with the stick at home. Nice!
To make this work for me, I keep the club grip pointed at my body much longer than you do & keep turning until I'm at max torque then start to unwind into the ball
Thank You, enjoyed those drilIs, I will be implementing them.
Very welcome 🙏

Great Video
Thanks Jon, great video. How do you get the club up to the top after the head has reach about hip high?
Lead shoulder moving down and in front of you 👍🏻

I would agree with Mr Hogan 👍🏻 What’s needed would depend on the golfer however
Not seen this drill before. Looks nice and simple. Thanks

Nothing wrong with keeping the club outside hands longer 👍🏻
I think if you start the hands back before club head cure lot of issues. Rickey Flowler does that .
