I love Sweetner and successful, blazed is ok in my opinion. It's not terrible, but everything else is better.

Sweetener has to be one of my favorite tracks on that album, it’s the bass that gets me every time. I also your your facial expression when she said lick below (I think that’s what she said lol)

I feel like a majority of her fans just want her to stick to the same basic pop sound that she clearly didn't like herself.
And that's why they hate it. Cause she's changing to a more mature RnB vibe. She's into the music she makes, and at this point, her work with Pharell is more interesting to listen to than the same old stuff she did with Max.
(And no, I'm not saying that Max didn't do a good job, cause his songs were pretty cool. They just didn't sound different from his previous songs with Ari.)

Okay... I hope you read this! This reaction was genuinely my reaction as well. You were so open-minded towards the new vibe of her music and thats what a lot of people didn’t do. They expected the pop-good-selling songs, but after what she has been through and us as a fandom of hers, she maybe wanted more personal and honest album. The R&B influence is 100% there, and little bit of how songs were made back a few years ago. SideToSide is still cute, but we are on another level here, just think of “Get better soon” and those seconds of silence dedicated to Manchester. I looooved this reaction!
