No dtc, no abs, no riding mode, a lot of character, intense sensation, on this vibrant red ''love'' DUCATI with enough horses power to get any common rider in trouble, a true old school motorcycle , tell u what I love the spirit ...
Damn, I wish my Panigale sounded like this. Even my old 1198 didn't sound that mean. Love it! So many haters with the downvotes too, haha. Who cares what he's wearing, I clicked on this to listen to a bike, not rate some guy's riding safety.
I still can remember the sound of World Superbike all-winning 888 superbikes among the crowd of howling japanese four cylinder ones. It was a powerful, distinctive, truly basso profundo exhaust note. "Here comes Roche" you said. Ducati's exhaust tone is pure awesomeness. I think those fools complains are in regards of mechanical "noises" at idle. Those dry clutch "noises". But then, that's all trademark Ducati sound. And there you have it.
It's just taste! My personal taste is from a Harley to a BMWS1000RR, I love all powerful bikes, of any style. I had a GSX 1100 W, a V-twin Honda Shadow, a Benelli 899S and I'm getting my first Duca 999R. Thanks for sample sound, it's awesome!
People can hate on the styling all they want. But the 999 with the 54/57mm Termignoni exhaust was the best sounding bike Ducati ever made. And it isn’t close. It was also one of the highest quality motorcycles they ever produced. It was the last of their hand assembled bikes, and you can’t find a single cheap, generic part anywhere on it. Even the bolts are high end. I remember looking at one up close in a dealership back in 2007 when the 1098 first came out. They had to keep the 999 on the other side of the showroom. Apparently they originally had them all in the same area, but when the bikes were side by side, the 999 made it too obvious how many generic parts the 1098 used.
amazing how you captured that deep sound on camera , i got a very impressive sound in my panigale with new termignonis full system , filmed it with a gopro (on my channel ) then i listened to it , complete bullocks , the termis are LOUD , and reving it up twice gives a loud bang and flame from the exhaust , but on camera it sounds like a fart .
people say they hate the sounds of a ducati and that it sounds like a lawn mower, thats only because the engine is running at a low rpm, on a track they are beasts...
Love the sound when they are running---driving, but that cold idle sounds like an old threshing machine. Kind of different....... but still pretty "bad assed"! .
ohhh ok,, i didnt know but i will say i love the looks of ducati bikes,,they are one of the best lookin sport bikes on the planet, italy allways did build an awesome engine in everything they build,,
When i was listening to the exhaust on the youtube i tought that this sound is good or even very good. But when i heard it in real life, with spark exhaust... oh man. Just excellent superbike :)
That has to be VERY torky, harley torky I think at very low revs wich is awesome:):) MARK, this fairing tail on the 999 could fit the 749???? I'm searching for a 749 (red)
Actually not bad for a Termi exhaust, sounds great. I used to own the 999S, but only with a slip on, but I have to say, my current 999R with a full system Titanium Corsa Leo Vince exhaust beats anything I've heard on a Ducati. Wanted the LV bad when I heard one equipped coming up a mountain canyon. I said one day I would get one, but never could afford the sucker being $3,750 retail. In 2009 I bought a 2003 999R, the first year R model of the series and it had only 951 miles on it. I called the guy, who lived outside of LA and I drove down there the next day with my cargo trailer in tow. Bought the bike and drove back to Sacramento the same day. Six months later I found the Leo Vince through Leo Vince's Richmond office and made smokin deal on it because it was their last one. I installed it and you should see the awesome weld work on the interior pipes, a work of art. But the sound is intoxicating.
Never ride without a helmet and certain NEVER with flip-flops. Even at 20 mph your head would be mush if you hit a wall or fence or a car. Nice bike, but be smart and never think you are above an accident, blown tire, idiots on the road, road imperfections or malfunction with bike. We want to see you alive on a bike. Nice 999. Not sure why people say this is an ugly bike, still looks modern today.
Tony Meoli ,,,Agree ,, flip flops are retarded thing to wear,he looks too small for that bike ,, no helmet no brains ,, he can learn the hard way ,, he'el be an advocate after he's in a wheelchair sayin
i wish i can have a ducati one day, Mark Nowhereman, i like your videos man good work, i rode a ninja 250 for 8 months, know i am planing to upgrade to a ninja 300 or ninja 600 what do you recomend i am a begginer and i wanna move to a 600
Hiya Mark, I was just wondering if u can clarify something. I noticed right at 1:47, u clicked down to get it into first gear. I thought Ducs used the reverse gear box. Thanks.
I have a Ducatti 999 in Yellow, the noise is the dry clutch, Asian bike all have semi wet clutches, they make nearly no noise but they dont clamp as hard as a dry clutch like oh say a Ducati or any over GP style superbike
I personally love the sound of ducatis. 999 is a little too much clanking-like sound, 1199 panigale sounds much better now, but the v2 sound is unique. I prefer this over the japanese inline 4s. It's the crossover between a harley and a superbike. Want looks and sound? Get a ducati. Want to humiliate every harley driver? Get a ducati.
So if a oil rig motor and a mud truck had a baby it would sound like this ???? just wondering sounded good when he hit the throttle but idle sounded so bad and loose .bike sounds ragged
not in my priorities right now my friend. hehehe,, i've got some work to do w/ the 2 bikes. maybe when i am done w/ the add-ons/mods then i may look up some ducati gear. but i still prefer my MONSTER gear.
Note to viewers “Don’t try this at home!” Riding any kind of motorcycle for any distance with flip flops on is just not smart, or safe 😑 I don’t care how experienced you think you are.
People expect to hear the whiny screech of a ninja or gsxr when they think of a sport bike; I do agree Ducati's have a different sound but it's not a bad sound. It's an original sound, not an over used "Indy car" sound. If you ever hear and feel a Ducati in person, it's like a drummer using your chest as a drum set. With me I just don't get that with a Japanese four cylinder. But that's my opinion and I do like the sound of a Japanese four cylinder, but I love the rumble and growl of a Ducati.
Evan Asche I sorta got my ducati for a change . I loved my Suzuki gs750 put 93.000 miles but I find that the twin cylinder duc to. be a better sound when I ride all day . not so frantic you know what I mean?
Evan Asche thanks for the reply , I am kinda new to this internet stuff . just turning 64 next week! !!😄😄😄know what I mean? This may not work on a 600 "not to much torque " but on the gs750 I changed the gearing. 3 teeth off rear sprocket. if you're not a speed demon it calms the revs -got lots of gears in the transmission. Just a thought
Great bike man! ... I love ducati. I have never own a street bike only crf250 dirtbike. I wanna get a ducati , what ducati shoud I get for a first time user? By the way great sound on your bike.
Completely agree on sound. I have tried to sell my 999 twice but as soon as the potential buyer starts it up I am in love all over again.
This is the best recorded sound of a Ducati Superbike I have heard online, exactly as they sound in real life, great job!
I believe so too.
Mark Nowhereman Man use the helmet
keyboardheroics It is? Because damnnnn I fell in love with the sound!
I'm the same, that sound is very addictive and rarely comes out right on video recordings sadly.
All Ducati superbike engines have this deep, bass heavy sound trait. It is too loud for some tastes, but perfect for others (like myself.)
2022 and still what a bike . still sounds best, best looking ever.
No dtc, no abs, no riding mode, a lot of character, intense sensation, on this vibrant red ''love'' DUCATI with enough horses power to get any common rider in trouble, a true old school motorcycle , tell u what I love the spirit ...

Well said!!
***** If you mean the exhaust(sorry but i don't speach english very well),it is a Termignoni.
+Darwin Allen Or maybe they are 12yo kids wishing it sounds like a i4...
+Darwin Allen Damn right dude!!
Darwin Allen

the 916 with termi actually had the best sounding, but i would take the 1975 Sport 750, or 06 sport classic, any day
cafe racers if you want that timeless look
The best Ducati ever,masterpiece!
never heard a ducati sounding that great!
I like Ducati sound and your video, but why you ride ducati without helmet?
IMO that's one of the best looking bikes ever.
I'm pretty sure people don't think Ducati's sound like crap - in fact the opposite is held true...nice bike - nice sound! Cheers
why so many haters just because you cant afford a nice bike don't mean you have to hate on this guy videos and your 999 sounds great :)
Nothing beats a Ducati!
In cars, I am JDM all the way, but bikes… all Italia ☝🏻
That's the best sounding Ducati yet!
I'm a diesel person but ducati bikes sound amazing. Wish I could get desmo valves on my truck.
That's THE best sounding motorcycle I've ever heard. Period.

people say they hate the sounds of a ducati and that it sounds like a lawn mower, thats only because the engine is running at a low rpm, on a track they are beasts...
It's different than other superbikes, Ducati has that special feel and sound to it.
Mark that bike sounds awesome!! There is nothing like a Ducati!!
What a LUCKY DOG! Its cold in NorthEast US but your video, makes me want to go for a ride!
The exhaust note on this beauty. Hallelujah!! 😍
Ducati sounds like a monster!!!! Ducati is a monster !!!! Ducati kills other bikes like a monster !!! Love that sound :X
Una delle Ducati piu' belle di sempre!
Love the sound when they are running---driving, but that cold idle sounds like an old threshing machine. Kind of different....... but still pretty "bad assed"! .
One of the best sounds in the world !!! Simply amazing ;p
ohhh ok,, i didnt know but i will say i love the looks of ducati bikes,,they are one of the best lookin sport bikes on the planet,

I've always been kind of a nobody too. But now that I took the muffler off my scooter, people are finally noticing me. I love it.
Still one of the nicest sounding Ducatis I`ve heard
That thing is a work of art
That has to be VERY torky, harley torky I think at very low revs wich is awesome:):)
MARK, this fairing tail on the 999 could fit the 749???? I'm searching for a 749 (red)
you gotta start making vids like this again !! love them !

You are welcome my friend. I also love the 999 and 749 body work. So simple, thin, sexy and artistic.
Pure muscle sound...only Ducati can make it.Damn good.
Tractor in background right?

Hiya Mark,
I was just wondering if u can clarify something. I noticed right at 1:47, u clicked down to get it into first gear. I thought Ducs used the reverse gear box. Thanks.

Is this asimmetric termignoni or simmetric?
I have a Ducatti 999 in Yellow, the noise is the dry clutch, Asian bike all have semi wet clutches, they make nearly no noise but they dont clamp as hard as a dry clutch like oh say a Ducati or any over GP style superbike
I really don't know how anybody can like a 4 pistons sound after hear a Desmo sound!
Thank god he´s wearing safety flip flops and a safety cap
Ducati is the best EVER!!!

Note to viewers “Don’t try this at home!” Riding any kind of motorcycle for any distance with flip flops on is just not smart, or safe 😑 I don’t care how experienced you think you are.
*yawn*
Meanwhile my fellow low-to-average Thai salarymen always look like they’re going to the beach, riding a motorcycle/moped.
@@p.kuansuwan2070 doesn’t mean they’re smart 😂
hola quisiera saber si esta moto es petrolera y tiene malo el motor
Gorgeous bike and sound
Damnit my cars killin me with gas!! I need a sport bike, wish I could afford a Ducati. What should I get? (first time owner)
@Mark Nowhereman how much does it eat gasoline on 100 km ?

there are other vtwin sport bikes too, not just Ducatis :)
Stephen White yeah such as Hyosung but Ducati is the most popular
