You can praise something without putting something else down, you know... By the way, there was plenty of social political music in the 60s and 70s, remember? ;-)
Burt Bacharach was an incredible composer/songwriter.... and was very soft spoken. He was truly the full package. Too bad there aren’t any more class acts like that these days. We surely do need them after hearing some of the crap on stations today. Just noise not true musicianship. 🎶 🎹 🎻 🥁 🎷 🎤

Can't be enough accolades for Burt Bacharach. Along with Paul Simon and Neil Diamond he made the 60/70s pop music (music extraordinaire). As well, along with the brilliance of both Hal David and Dionne Warwick the ears of a young America at that time were educated to a much higher element of musical expression than could be hoped for. It took me a year or two (in about the mid to late 60s) to realize that a great deal of the 45s (single records) I was loving and collecting had Burt's stamp on them. Hit after hit after hit (and even some of the non-hits) -- so much fabulous music. Thank you Mr. Bachrach; and thank God for sending you to us. Absolutely outstanding. Sharing with my kids. Thank you. 👍🏻😉.
I grew up listening to his melodies as my mom adored his music. So do I. This documentary was brilliant. I loved every second of it, and all of the musical genius's who surrounded this wonderful man.
without a doubt---one of the best---so is dusty!!!!
james lockamy Only Dusty could sing the Look of Love
Burt's music bought father and son together and that's powerful
Along with Lennon/Mc Cartney duo Burt proved to be the composer of best souful songs ever.
Breathless. I'm still listening in the year 2019. Still loving it.
...and still up to 2020, a real great musical composer.
Jan 3 2022, he's still all that ...
Actually Jan 4 now, I stayed up past midnight to finish watching this fabulous film.
Burt Bacharach and Jimmy Webb, and maybe Herb Alpert defined the 1960s music.
Fantastic composer.
Burt was in many ways gifted. Not only a brilliant composer in his breed but also a great pianist, accompanist, arranger, conductor and producer....Burt could do all this. A very DEEP BOW and RESPECT for the greatest composer of the 20th century. No other composer can reach that level as he did. BURT my music hero for 50 yrs. His music will live forever. Thank you soooo, soooo much for all the incredible compositions BURT!! R.I.P. my music hero 😪💔
And those movie star good looks and humility to boot!! What a gift he was and will always be to us!
❤ R.I.P.
Sorry it’s me again Dionne s biggest supporter. Johnny Pearson arranged Cilla version according to Cilla herself in this film. Dionne lord love her also has animosity towards Sandy Shaw who covered Always Something There to Remind me, thus costing Dionne the ever almighty dollar.
Thank you Burt for the music. my love for music is stronger than ever! watching this makes me want to go to the piano.
One of the greatest melodists of all time. Let alone the 20th century. And Hal David was such a lyricist. Magic.
One of the great composers/songwriters. A legend in American pops music history.
His music brings joy & happiness to many for decades, and still.
Such a loss.
He’s now no longer with us, but his music remains.
His name’s marked in the pop-music world history.
Rest In Peace❤️Burt Bacharach.
You’ll always be remembered.
A great composer ,love rain drops keep falling in my head.
My childhood soundtrack was Burt Bacharach. Memories of sitting in the back seat listening to my parents’ Bacharach 8 tracks while we took a Sunday drive. Thank you for the warm memories.
Winner of 3 Academy Awards! I never knew that. What a composer!
The one and only Mr. Burt Bacharach!

he gave so much to music. his associations with so many vocalists are amazing. he will be missed, it is amazing how relevant he remained. it's good to see warwicke here with him, an incredible vocalist.
Fascinating. I'm happy he & Dionne were able to overcome the legal division & work together again. Good grief! And that this showed so many of the other greats that ALSO benefited from his talent.
¡¡¡BRAVO, BRAVO, BRAVO!!! FOR EVER MR. BURT BACHARACH
