Nice work, beautiful country, rough trails, very high. Question: Can you reach your bear spray as quickly as you might need it? :)

Doubtful, I'm usually distracted with filming :)

What steps do you take for bear safety in the area? I understand that the bear population has increased a lot in recent years

In the Winds this year, we stored food in an Usack with OPSak (heavy ziploc), tied to a sturdy tree away from camp. We carry bear spray while hiking. When hiking thru dense cover, make noise, bang hiking poles, etc. Frankly, this summer in the central Winds, in 3 hikes we only saw one pile of bear scat (on Ice Lakes Trail), and no prints.
