The landscape is so barren compared to the east coast. Still, there is beauty in the barrens.

Been there. Texas has some of the most beautiful country that few have seen. I've hiked Alaska, Mexico, and most states in between, but the deserts of American are by far my favorite.

I love your music selection which gives the impression of mystery, adventure into the unknown, and lonely grandeur.

I chuckled at the entrepreneur on horseback who offered tamales to weary hikers! This park seems so barren, but you found interesting flora and fauna to capture and share with your viewers!

Hi David could I get your advice on selecting a Titcomb basin loop route for our Boy Scout troop for august 2025? Trying to figure out the best 4 or 5 night route starting from a trailhead in the pinedale area. We would be flying into Jackson from San Diego and then driving to the trailhead. We are experienced Sierra mountains backpackers but our first time in Wyoming

Really enjoyed your video. Did a trip out of Turpin many years ago up Soda Fork, down Woodard to Bridger Lake and out via Trail Creek and North Fork. Considering a similar loop you did next summer. I want to see the North Fork Falls. You've inspired this 69 year old guy to do one more trip to the Teton Wilderness!

Reminds me so much of the time Bill & I spent on the Wind River Indian Reservation. We didn't hike, but got off the main roads and took in as much wilderness as we could. Amazing country! I love this video diary.
