Late info for most people, but might be usefull for next league if this build is still playable (or other players like me being super slow): I tried to calculate the cost associated with this sword crafting with 1) fracturing T1 strength, 2) woe essence spamming T0 spell damage + T1 chaos damage (with at least one open prefix and one open suffix), 3) veiled orb for prefix T1 Chaos pen, 4) harvest reforge speed for T2+ attack speed, 5) return projectile enchant, 6) 6 sockets gems, 7) 6 links. I decided to calculate the number of try to have 90% of success at each step on average (except steps 5 to 7 because no mandatory RNG). To give an idea, with a 1/4 chance to fracture T1 strength with a 4-mods sword, you need on average 8 tries to have 90% of success on average - meaning if you fracture 8 4-mods swords you have 90% of chance to get one with the strength mod fractured. With 4 swords you only have ~65% chance to get one, with two swords only 50% of success etc. I preferred to be quite conservative with the 90% of success because for people like me it represents a quite expensive craft with some RNG and it's good to get an idea of how much you could spend if you are reasonably unlucky. Ultimately, I expected the craft to be ~130 divs. Of course, it would depend on components costs (right now, veiled orb ~ 15 div, fracturing orb ~5.5 div, woe essence ~1/42 div, power rune ~1.6 div etc.). The harvest reforge has a relatively low chance to break your sword at step 4, even with a fractured suffix (estimated with craft of exile simulations). It's 22% chance to get T2+ attack speed, ~65% chance to get T3- attack speed, both with an open suffix. However, it still represent ~13% chance to fill suffixes and you are screwed if annulment fail (3/5 chances to fail, so ~8% chance in total) increasing cost by roughly 30-40% (mainly because of the veiled orb, steps 2 and 3 to do again). PS: the return project enchant itself cost 30+ divs currently, despite power rune price is super low now. I would not apply it on a sword less than this price, I believe this would be wasted currency.
And you need to be 1.5 meter close to enemy to reduce to fullest and u cant even scale with aoe radius to get full effect it is same 1.5 meter, even description in text said that and it is tested already so this so wrong about flesh and stone it would be so impactful gem if it is like he described, out of circle mobs deal full dmg.
6:55 Once prefixes are done you can still rip your sword with "prefixes cannot be changed" and "reforge speed". It can fill your suffixes with "attack speed" and something like "increased stun duration on enemies" meaning you cannot craft DD while focused and need to lucky annul.
Exactly what happened with my craft just now. I was already relaxing after i unveiled chaos pen, i thought now i just spam prefixes cannot be changed + reforge speed easy. At least i got t2 attack speed with stun duration on enemies filling suffixes 😢. It's a settle for now. Maybe will yolo annul it after some time.
Important Guys: dont overpay for the Base. Its a 1/4 fracture, so dont pay more for a Base than 4 fracturing orbs are worth. Saw bases for 50 div Last night, thats Just absurd
Nice one, oddly prior to this transition nobody suggested using echoforge for people who don't want to go through fire damage and want to do chaos only, even though it was way cheaper than rakiata. Proudly doing ubers with it, among other 13 poe ninja warrriors with 'dead' unique
@@spencers1485 not sure, was using it prior to reaver sword and changed a lot, but in general unbuffed AS was quite low, but with nice echoforge flat it was good enough to kill ubers
Been loving your follow-up videos this league, it's been a great help! I'm still on Rakiata's, but it's pretty opted with awakened gems and reservation efficiency crown of eyes. Quick maths on switching to Chaos seems to be about 150 div if I'm not mistaken. Alberron's, Chaos sword + gems, projectile enchant... Just the str fracture is 20+ div after this video :D

Just crafted the alternate sword: Endurance Charge on stun + 20% more dmg + Chaos pen. My veiled orb gave me DD while focused so I ended up crafting Chaos Pen and Attack speed. Not the most min/max craft but it's a good starting sword. Total cost was about around 10d to craft. I see someone selling a similar sword for 27d rn.
@@PEAKENTV It's just Jugg MS of Zenith build, but you just pop in LS instead of MS. Having an open prefix on gloves so you can add in 1 pierce is great too
PSA for those thinking about crafting the sword: Craft of Exile HIGHLY overestimate the odds of getting chaos damage. That is because you also need open prefix and suffix for the craft. You might spend much more than you think for a 4 affix sword, not even a high end one.
End game thoughts? Swapped to Chieftain we are missing Stun, Ailment, and Freeze Immunity. Our armor now fees paper-thin, even with a double determination watchers with hit vitality. Love the explody pack thing, but the loss of tankyness on Chieftan I'd say is a no go... giving it one more day, but most likely will go back to Chief. Even went "Unstoppable" on Flesh/Flame.
Flesh and stone is like 1.5m, which is barely a bit more than default 1.3 weapon range. Judging from the wiki, i may be wrong ofc. Its secondary radius grows, and so even 10% is neat.
Hey, thank you for the update! I've been having a blast with the build, it's very interesting to put together. I have a question about your projectile number calcs. You have 20 projectile hits now, before you had returning proj you have had 11. Is this you way of accounting for 60% less dps from returning proj support?
Good catch! I was just listeng to a VOD earlier this league where someone asked why 12 and he explained and he said not 18 because less damage from return proj along with not everything hitting small hitbox targets. I'll update my POB now :)

I believe that was one of the shadow nerfs, it was removed and not listed in the patch notes unfortunately. Edit: oops, it was listed in the patch notes, my bad T_T
i only see people that plays molten strike use soul of lunaris so they don't have freeze avoidance, also cant find how these builds gets freeze immune.
@@babbsan123It's the line that says "Action Speed cannot be modified to below base value". The way freezes work in this game, they set your action speed to zero. So with that Juggernaut node, you cannot be frozen.

Watchers eye vitality gives life gain on hit OR hunters exalt on a ring for life gain on hit. Combine with circle of life anoint if you’re still dying.
Same here, and I just switched to flesh and stone/purity of fire just to get more DR + max res and I still get one shot by Lycia in T17 even with non rippy mods. Feels like im missing something
Does anyone have a link to a build or a project of this build with original sin? I have mageblood by now and some cash to transition to chaos, maybe not quite enough but soon I'll be there and I'm thinking to maybe skip the non-original sin version and go straight to that version? Or like, maybe just a few pointers of what kind of changes we want compared to this version? High dps elemental sword? Anything else? Or is it better to just keep the fire damage per str sword?
This build is awesome and very fun but, due to sheer amount of popularity it got, everything is so expensive now for someone who is fairly new and don't know how to make money properly sadly.
The non chaos damage is still big on a budget. Then you save for albarons, check his character progression on POE Ninja, it'll take you long enough that things will get cheaper by the time you get to chaos.

I started this as my second build. In your original planet eater pob you swapped to chieftain. Is that still the top end, and what gear is required for that to be an alternative? Figured it's a bit faster to finish the build if you save 150d on forbidden jewels, but obviously that's silly if it only starts to overtake jugg at the 12 mirror mark.

hey what are some good ways to up my phys max hit, especially on no endurance/charge stealing t-17s? Using replica alb's so ralakesh isnt an option. Should I consider some lowlife pretrified blood+strength of blood setup?
I am running your build and I am looking to transition the the kalandra/life on hit ring setup. Is that ring deterministically crafted at all or just pure RNG essence spamming? Tried finding something similar on trade and even crafting it myself both essences/fossils but no luck so far
He covered this in the last video, you want to find a ring with str + resists and life and an open prefix. Slam a hunter's exalt and pray for life gain on hit, it took me abt 10 tries before I finally hit the mod
What I did was get a few hunter influenced rings, chaos roll for the gain on hit until there are other good stats, then exalt slam hoping for other good stats. Another way is harvest craft life mods. You may hit gain on life faster. Finally, you could use the recombinator to combine two rings to get the best of both. My way is a bit cheaper and will give you a good starting ring. min/maxing the ring will take some time/cost. You also don't have to use kalandra and use craft two rings.
Hey Connor, ue explanation of flesh and stone is incorrect. The enemies dont deal full reduced damage inside the aura and then less to the screen edge. The full effect of flesh and stone is ONYL 1.5m radius and cant be changed by increased aura AoE. From these 1.5m the dmg reduction scales linear to 0% AT THE EDGE OF THE AURA. So basically it only is usefull if something is strong enough to stand right in ur face.
@@ravio1042 It reduces damage UP TO 20%. From the max radius 0% up to 20% at 1.5m. If you increase the area of it, u will stretch the scaling, but it will still be 0% at the outer end and 20% at 1.5m.
Hello! I'm completely new to the build, although I started it with a very scuffed Alberon's setup, I'm wondering, with blood magic, would it be worth it to use the Returning Projectiles gem instead of Behead? Until one can afford the sword enchant

Saw Steve dropping determination. What kind of setup I need to drop det.? Kinda think eventually we gonna need purity of element to sustain resistances if we don't switch to chieftain like the pre-league pob
@@gaveltron did the calculation, if you don't use chieftain ascendancy with purity of fire, you are going to have a res. deficit with mb. We won't have any slot on gear and jewels for ele res. just mageblood won't solve it even if you run ruby + bismuth. If we gonna stick with Jugg ascendancy, the only way I see it is to use purity of ele. Also this build is still very res. starved, if we gonna use a synth ring instead of a helical, we gonna use all 3 suffixes for str, attribute and accuracy stacking. There's definitely gonna be a problem fixing both ele. and even chaos res. Conner's pre-league theory craft pob is not chaos res capped even with progenesis on. This means even a t16 map with crit plus gain chaos dmg mod might be dangerous, a red alter chaos dmg mod is probably undoable, plus the build is not high on regen, so without enemies to attack, even poison stack can kill you without chaos res. capped. I'm already encountering situations whereby I kill enemy so fast, that some leftover dot plus my own blood rage kills me when i don't have anything to hit to get that LGoH
Can someone explain to me how the weapon swap, explode thing works ? I've never used anything like this an curious. Do I just cast the warcry after swap and thats it or what ?
I feels that's the wrong essence but can't be sure of the right one off the top of my head...but also he has swapped gloves so maybe you're talking about the new ones.
@@ArnoldMejia Zeal is for the Attack speed, because AS has lower weight than strength, so in theory t1 str is more common than t1 AS, and according to the craftofexile if u will use Zeal ess for guaranteed AS (1 suff), to roll t1 str (2nd suff) and any t1 res or t2+ chaos res is 1142 tries (because if u will aim only for chaos res then u will have 8k tries), but still it is a lot of essenses, just to roll suffixes, so my question was maybe Conner used some combination of essenes and reforges, or fossils instead, or just 1k essenses and that's it
get a leavithan gauntlets base, span zeal till t1 strength, lock sufix, reforge life for t2-t1 life, then lock sufix again and veil orb it - after that, fracture orb it for a 50/50 chance of getting the attack speed or str. if u frac life or veiled mod, its good too. if u frac str or attack speed, proceed with zeal till t1 res of your choice or with rage essence respectively. after that u lock sufix again and reforge life once more till desired life, and end with veil orb :) hope to have helped
I thought the point of delirium was to kill all the mobs? If your boss rushing aren't you skipping mobs to go straight for the boss? If so why combine these two? Genuinely curious as to why this is effective cause I'm a noob

How important is the Non-vaaal strike skills target 2 additional nearby enemies on gloves? Is the main difference in mapping clear speed? Or does it change single target damage as well? Thanks!
im not too sure but i assume its for stuff like invintations but i feel at this point for the build its not needed due to output. what the 2 strikes does for you is free up the mastery for 1 non-vaal and give an extra point. Im not sure if theres a way to determine the non-vaal implicit with exceptional but if its not expensive then it is worth for map clear.
i just git the plys one today. It feels good for clear, i'd say the =2 would feel better but getting it will be a pain. You can only get it using domination orbs b/c you need tier 2 to get the 2. So you cak use lesser eldrich to get plus one the you gotta win 5 dominace i think. Other wise use higher tier ichors (which are more expensive) and need to win less dominace orb chances.
How I wish you had a discord where I could ask some questions, because I am not figuring out this face tank everything playstyle. I had one goal, to facetank normal shaper for the entire fight, but I am not even close! I also only have a few mill DPS, not 50+ mill like your previous vid, so I have not used a lot of affixes etc. on offence that would explain the tank diff. Man, playing and building a tanky character is hard!
keep in mind the pob is very pob-warrior - double damage focus is not always up - rage will not be 30 on bosses unless you keep leap slamming - fortify will barely be present if at all unless you keep leap slamming - likely no frenzy charges on bosses since they are only gained on kill - vaal haste is not always up - (only relevant for this video) enemies / bosses won't be fully withered if at all (only comes from withering step)
@@CadentemThere's a rage on hit on the tree do you not get rage from that? Also why wouldn't wither step do what it says it'll do? Do these bosses have wither resist or something?
@@Cadentema great way to get perma 15 wither on bosses is to run despair with wither on hit unique jewel from sanctum, just cast despair away from enemies so you don’t remove snipers mark. You also get 100% frenzy uptime with sword mastery “10% to gain a frenzy charge on hit”
@@ArnoldMejia missed the rage node - yeah that works (rage build up on a single enemy with 1 per hit doesn't seem that fast though at least from my experience) misunderstood wither step thought it only applied once per enemy - with high level + quality gem + inc. duration you might be able to keep it up

If you get full suffixes and crap attack speed on the reforge speed part, you are most likely screwed and -10d. took me 3 veiled orbs to hit the prefix, then reforge speed filled the suffixes, failed the annul, gg finished the craft on second round though, thank god. got t1 attack speed too.
Well the entire phys base damage is 0 now. The phys (whether converted or not) will do zero damage. The only damage is coming from str to chaos on the boots plus any chaos damage + damage modifiers. Any phys to chaos convert will count as well.
I'm trying to wrap my head around this building being worth the amount of currency it costs. I feel like there are tankier and more well rounded builds for like a 10th of the cost. To get to the chaos swap it seems to be around 200 divs at this point
And that's before the chaos ring which is 250+ divs by itself. I'm in a similar boat of just saying fuck it and waiting a month or 2 to continue this build for when prices hopefully drop enough that chaos swap is 30~ div and maybe 80-100 div for the ring

@@idkimnotcreative8974 you must be new to the game. The ring will rise in price, in a couple weeks it will spike, and aftr a month or two it will be mirr+ Its an incredibly rare and hard to get item from a very niche and hard (for many) content.
al dhih claw gives more warcry buff effect, explode is irrelavant cuz we dont kill anything with the claw, but the redblade banner shiled is more important cuz you can enduring cry anywhere and get the charges

Depend on the rolls on your reaver. If it has the str fire stack prefix it will be better than rakiata if you have 2k str. Rakiata has penetration, better for certain content. This phase you are in is temporary. Safe up for replica alberon
I'm loving the build so far, I'm just about to get alberons (got a lucky mirror shard from boats so that cut my grinding time in half almost). One small suggestion for the video though if you don't mind, when talking about crafting don't have just you standing in your hideout, have like a Google doc or something else that people can follow, or even just random gameplay of you killing stuff. I think it's much more entertaining. Still loving the updates keep doing them!
When you have an item with a mod that says you have something during focus you automatically get a focus skill button. Nothing else is needed. You can bind it and activate it
He swapped out his astramentis so he is missing dex to be able to equip his gear + gems. He gave up some life on his split personality to get more back on his rare amulet.
in endgame nothing compares exept maybe molten strike but its just worse compared to zenith, also depends on what you mean by "more", other melee skills might have better clear but thats about it
this is playing the game in a very different way. this league start was super bad for me but now i have a 99 power syphon wander with a mage blood that i ancient orbed, and yesterday i did one of the most expensive things ive ever done by spending around 100div on the haunted by tormented spirits enchant. My char cant do ubers, and the dps is something like 8m, i dont even understand how to get this type of damage compared to the way i play :|

For anyone watching later, the part at 8:50 is wrong, Flesh and Stone only reduces damage up to the visible end of the aura, tested it in PvP.

With replica alberon, swapping to Lightning Strike for clearing is amazing. Just MS to LS, no other gem swaps
why not just play lightning strike then? its my understanding you can achieve 95% of what this build can on 50% of the budget

PSA for those thinking about crafting the sword: Craft of Exile HIGHLY overestimate the odds of getting chaos damage. That is because you also need open prefix and suffix for the craft. You might spend much more than you think for a 4 affix sword, not even a high end one.
End game thoughts? Swapped to Chieftain we are missing Stun, Ailment, and Freeze Immunity. Our armor now fees paper-thin, even with a double determination watchers with hit vitality. Love the explody pack thing, but the loss of tankyness on Chieftan I'd say is a no go... giving it one more day, but most likely will go back to Chief. Even went "Unstoppable" on Flesh/Flame.

1. What's the rationale behind the Divine Shield notable?
2. What is the weapon swap setup used to help tank the Exarch ball phase?
1. Lots of ES regen based on the damage prevented by armor.

i.e. the enemy can be damaged but that thing is still showing (it's just hard to see the life change)
Flesh and stone is like 1.5m, which is barely a bit more than default 1.3 weapon range. Judging from the wiki, i may be wrong ofc. Its secondary radius grows, and so even 10% is neat.

Hey, thank you for the update! I've been having a blast with the build, it's very interesting to put together. I have a question about your projectile number calcs. You have 20 projectile hits now, before you had returning proj you have had 11. Is this you way of accounting for 60% less dps from returning proj support?
Good catch! I was just listeng to a VOD earlier this league where someone asked why 12 and he explained and he said not 18 because less damage from return proj along with not everything hitting small hitbox targets. I'll update my POB now :)

I believe that was one of the shadow nerfs, it was removed and not listed in the patch notes unfortunately.

Connor is running purity of elements. But yes the jug node does that too. Early versions use cyclopian coil for freeze ignite immune.
@@babbsan123It's the line that says "Action Speed cannot be modified to below base value". The way freezes work in this game, they set your action speed to zero. So with that Juggernaut node, you cannot be frozen.

A lot of the tankiness (aside from +max res and armor) come from attack speed + life on hit and a decent health pool. Not much to it other than that.
Watchers eye vitality gives life gain on hit OR hunters exalt on a ring for life gain on hit. Combine with circle of life anoint if you’re still dying.
If you also notice conner is actually using a weapon swap setup for life regen using enduring cry, might want to look into that as well

Same here, and I just switched to flesh and stone/purity of fire just to get more DR + max res and I still get one shot by Lycia in T17 even with non rippy mods. Feels like im missing something
Does anyone have a link to a build or a project of this build with original sin? I have mageblood by now and some cash to transition to chaos, maybe not quite enough but soon I'll be there and I'm thinking to maybe skip the non-original sin version and go straight to that version?
Or like, maybe just a few pointers of what kind of changes we want compared to this version? High dps elemental sword? Anything else? Or is it better to just keep the fire damage per str sword?

This build is awesome and very fun but, due to sheer amount of popularity it got, everything is so expensive now for someone who is fairly new and don't know how to make money properly sadly.
The non chaos damage is still big on a budget. Then you save for albarons, check his character progression on POE Ninja, it'll take you long enough that things will get cheaper by the time you get to chaos.

I started this as my second build. In your original planet eater pob you swapped to chieftain. Is that still the top end, and what gear is required for that to be an alternative? Figured it's a bit faster to finish the build if you save 150d on forbidden jewels, but obviously that's silly if it only starts to overtake jugg at the 12 mirror mark.

For every ball. U can get it as neck annoint. Vitality watchers eye or hunter orb prefix mod on Ring.

hey what are some good ways to up my phys max hit, especially on no endurance/charge stealing t-17s? Using replica alb's so ralakesh isnt an option. Should I consider some lowlife pretrified blood+strength of blood setup?
I am running your build and I am looking to transition the the kalandra/life on hit ring setup. Is that ring deterministically crafted at all or just pure RNG essence spamming? Tried finding something similar on trade and even crafting it myself both essences/fossils but no luck so far
He covered this in the last video, you want to find a ring with str + resists and life and an open prefix. Slam a hunter's exalt and pray for life gain on hit, it took me abt 10 tries before I finally hit the mod
What I did was get a few hunter influenced rings, chaos roll for the gain on hit until there are other good stats, then exalt slam hoping for other good stats. Another way is harvest craft life mods. You may hit gain on life faster. Finally, you could use the recombinator to combine two rings to get the best of both. My way is a bit cheaper and will give you a good starting ring. min/maxing the ring will take some time/cost.
You also don't have to use kalandra and use craft two rings.

Hey Connor, ue explanation of flesh and stone is incorrect. The enemies dont deal full reduced damage inside the aura and then less to the screen edge. The full effect of flesh and stone is ONYL 1.5m radius and cant be changed by increased aura AoE. From these 1.5m the dmg reduction scales linear to 0% AT THE EDGE OF THE AURA. So basically it only is usefull if something is strong enough to stand right in ur face.

If that’s the case then why does the gem have the word “up to”? It has to have some sort of distance scaling.
@@ravio1042 It reduces damage UP TO 20%. From the max radius 0% up to 20% at 1.5m. If you increase the area of it, u will stretch the scaling, but it will still be 0% at the outer end and 20% at 1.5m.

Can you explain why bladedancer is good? Is it just for feeling? I've been running without the strike range and haven't noticed any downside.

mageblood is how you fix resistances and aliment immunity at the same time.
@@gaveltron did the calculation, if you don't use chieftain ascendancy with purity of fire, you are going to have a res. deficit with mb. We won't have any slot on gear and jewels for ele res. just mageblood won't solve it even if you run ruby + bismuth. If we gonna stick with Jugg ascendancy, the only way I see it is to use purity of ele. Also this build is still very res. starved, if we gonna use a synth ring instead of a helical, we gonna use all 3 suffixes for str, attribute and accuracy stacking. There's definitely gonna be a problem fixing both ele. and even chaos res. Conner's pre-league theory craft pob is not chaos res capped even with progenesis on. This means even a t16 map with crit plus gain chaos dmg mod might be dangerous, a red alter chaos dmg mod is probably undoable, plus the build is not high on regen, so without enemies to attack, even poison stack can kill you without chaos res. capped. I'm already encountering situations whereby I kill enemy so fast, that some leftover dot plus my own blood rage kills me when i don't have anything to hit to get that LGoH
I'm missing how the Iron Fortress still has value after the chaos transition. Where is phys+Fire being converted to Chaos? I'm a newb, forgive me :)

it's an extra button you have to click. Once you have that mod there's a new skill that says focus and u press it

I feels that's the wrong essence but can't be sure of the right one off the top of my head...but also he has swapped gloves so maybe you're talking about the new ones.
@@ArnoldMejia Zeal is for the Attack speed, because AS has lower weight than strength, so in theory t1 str is more common than t1 AS, and according to the craftofexile if u will use Zeal ess for guaranteed AS (1 suff), to roll t1 str (2nd suff) and any t1 res or t2+ chaos res is 1142 tries (because if u will aim only for chaos res then u will have 8k tries), but still it is a lot of essenses, just to roll suffixes, so my question was maybe Conner used some combination of essenes and reforges, or fossils instead, or just 1k essenses and that's it

get a leavithan gauntlets base, span zeal till t1 strength, lock sufix, reforge life for t2-t1 life, then lock sufix again and veil orb it - after that, fracture orb it for a 50/50 chance of getting the attack speed or str. if u frac life or veiled mod, its good too. if u frac str or attack speed, proceed with zeal till t1 res of your choice or with rage essence respectively. after that u lock sufix again and reforge life once more till desired life, and end with veil orb :) hope to have helped

I thought the point of delirium was to kill all the mobs? If your boss rushing aren't you skipping mobs to go straight for the boss? If so why combine these two? Genuinely curious as to why this is effective cause I'm a noob

How important is the Non-vaaal strike skills target 2 additional nearby enemies on gloves? Is the main difference in mapping clear speed? Or does it change single target damage as well? Thanks!

im not too sure but i assume its for stuff like invintations but i feel at this point for the build its not needed due to output. what the 2 strikes does for you is free up the mastery for 1 non-vaal and give an extra point. Im not sure if theres a way to determine the non-vaal implicit with exceptional but if its not expensive then it is worth for map clear.

i just git the plys one today. It feels good for clear, i'd say the =2 would feel better but getting it will be a pain. You can only get it using domination orbs b/c you need tier 2 to get the 2. So you cak use lesser eldrich to get plus one the you gotta win 5 dominace i think. Other wise use higher tier ichors (which are more expensive) and need to win less dominace orb chances.
It is very important, without it clear feels shit, and on bosses with adds or multiple bosses its a straight up damage boost.
Do you think this build will go strong into the next patch or will we be back to mana?

How I wish you had a discord where I could ask some questions, because I am not figuring out this face tank everything playstyle. I had one goal, to facetank normal shaper for the entire fight, but I am not even close!
I also only have a few mill DPS, not 50+ mill like your previous vid, so I have not used a lot of affixes etc. on offence that would explain the tank diff.

keep in mind the pob is very pob-warrior
- double damage focus is not always up
- rage will not be 30 on bosses unless you keep leap slamming
- fortify will barely be present if at all unless you keep leap slamming
- likely no frenzy charges on bosses since they are only gained on kill
- vaal haste is not always up
- (only relevant for this video) enemies / bosses won't be fully withered if at all (only comes from withering step)
@@CadentemThere's a rage on hit on the tree do you not get rage from that? Also why wouldn't wither step do what it says it'll do? Do these bosses have wither resist or something?
@@Cadentema great way to get perma 15 wither on bosses is to run despair with wither on hit unique jewel from sanctum, just cast despair away from enemies so you don’t remove snipers mark. You also get 100% frenzy uptime with sword mastery “10% to gain a frenzy charge on hit”
@@ArnoldMejia missed the rage node - yeah that works (rage build up on a single enemy with 1 per hit doesn't seem that fast though at least from my experience)
misunderstood wither step thought it only applied once per enemy - with high level + quality gem + inc. duration you might be able to keep it up

If you get full suffixes and crap attack speed on the reforge speed part, you are most likely screwed and -10d. took me 3 veiled orbs to hit the prefix, then reforge speed filled the suffixes, failed the annul, gg
finished the craft on second round though, thank god. got t1 attack speed too.
One thing, is not the entire phys to fire conversion of the gem itself now wasted?

Well the entire phys base damage is 0 now. The phys (whether converted or not) will do zero damage. The only damage is coming from str to chaos on the boots plus any chaos damage + damage modifiers. Any phys to chaos convert will count as well.

I'm trying to wrap my head around this building being worth the amount of currency it costs. I feel like there are tankier and more well rounded builds for like a 10th of the cost. To get to the chaos swap it seems to be around 200 divs at this point
And that's before the chaos ring which is 250+ divs by itself. I'm in a similar boat of just saying fuck it and waiting a month or 2 to continue this build for when prices hopefully drop enough that chaos swap is 30~ div and maybe 80-100 div for the ring
no build scales as hard as this, of course a lot of builds are stronger than this at under 1 mirror

Its an incredibly rare and hard to get item from a very niche and hard (for many) content.
19:00 the healthbar is whats bugged, not the fight, shaper wasnt immune it just shows that hes immune. Happens in a few fights.

al dhih claw gives more warcry buff effect, explode is irrelavant cuz we dont kill anything with the claw, but the redblade banner shiled is more important cuz you can enduring cry anywhere and get the charges

Depend on the rolls on your reaver. If it has the str fire stack prefix it will be better than rakiata if you have 2k str. Rakiata has penetration, better for certain content. This phase you are in is temporary. Safe up for replica alberon

iron fortress is like, 40% more damage over almost any rare chest. Its too good to not use.
I'm loving the build so far, I'm just about to get alberons (got a lucky mirror shard from boats so that cut my grinding time in half almost).
One small suggestion for the video though if you don't mind, when talking about crafting don't have just you standing in your hideout, have like a Google doc or something else that people can follow, or even just random gameplay of you killing stuff. I think it's much more entertaining. Still loving the updates keep doing them!

where do you get focus from?
When you have an item with a mod that says you have something during focus you automatically get a focus skill button. Nothing else is needed. You can bind it and activate it
"Chance to deal double damage while focused" Can be crafted or veiled.
if u use Split personality whit Stre + Accu ?? u dont need more dex and u gent like 520 flat acc right? is not that better?
He swapped out his astramentis so he is missing dex to be able to equip his gear + gems. He gave up some life on his split personality to get more back on his rare amulet.

Build is epic fun but - what about value to money in this build? Are they any other melee build that for the same money can do more?
in endgame nothing compares exept maybe molten strike but its just worse compared to zenith, also depends on what you mean by "more", other melee skills might have better clear but thats about it

this is playing the game in a very different way. this league start was super bad for me but now i have a 99 power syphon wander with a mage blood that i ancient orbed, and yesterday i did one of the most expensive things ive ever done by spending around 100div on the haunted by tormented spirits enchant. My char cant do ubers, and the dps is something like 8m, i dont even understand how to get this type of damage compared to the way i play :|
