- A Man is Underestimated, but He Turns Out to be a More Dangerous Killing Machine than John Wick
Emmy winner Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul, The Post, Nebraska) stars as Hutch Mansell, an underestimated and overlooked dad and husband, taking life's indignities on the chin and never pushing back. A nobody. When two thieves break into his suburban home one night, Hutch declines to defend himself or his family, hoping to prevent serious violence. His teenage son, Blake (Gage Munroe, The Shack), is disappointed in him and his wife, Becca (Connie Nielsen, Wonder Woman), seems to pull only further away. The aftermath of the incident strikes a match to Hutch's long-simmering rage, triggering dormant instincts and propelling him on a brutal path that will surface dark secrets and lethal skills. In a barrage of fists, gunfire and squealing tires, Hutch must save his family from a dangerous adversary (famed Russian actor Aleksey Serebryakov, Amazon's McMafia)-and ensure that he will never be underestimated as a nobody again.
Thank you for watching.

Hutch's father is the real mvp
Doc Brown!!
TURN THAT DAMN SHOW DOWN!
*turns down tv while holding criminals mouth shut*
fi true
Hutch's father definitely proved to be the real MVP, showing courage and resourcefulness when it mattered most!
@@recapkingofficial bro responded 2 years later 😂
That woman was the smartest person in the movie. She quit her job after finding out who her colleagues were dealing with.
Aurelio in John Wick and this women are smartest characters in whole cinema history.
@@Verhen_n Yes!!
@@Verhen_n You forgot the smartest of them all, Jimmy.
@@HaiJustDangiT Dont forget Francis
And joe
You misread the wife’s attitude. She was aware of who he was and had experienced it in the past and had a history of attending to his injuries. He tried living a normal life but was so unhappy not being what he really was that it was ruining his marriage. Only the kids and the in-laws were unaware the he was a badass.
She definitely knew what he had done before
You're right about the complexity of the wife's character and her awareness of Hutch's past. It adds depth to their relationship and the challenges they face.
Nobody is like John Wick, but it’s set in a universe that’s more like real life
I look at Hutch as mid-life crisis John Wick. Lol
what if hutch does know john
@@user-fb6px5ny3r they were assassin college roommates. Lol
The director has already said they exist in the same universe....
You got that right John Wick is John Wick 😂😂
This movie is actually really worth watching through, it kicked ass.
especially the scene when the father and the brothers fight together
What’s the name
@@Slick4749 of what
@@Slick4749 if u mean movie nobody
Absolutely! 'Nobody' is a rollercoaster of action, humor, and intensity. It's definitely a must-watch for fans of the genre!
I would absolutely love to see Hutch and John Wick in a movie together, working as allies, sharing some sort of epic backstory. One can only dream...
that would be so dumb
That sounds pretty cool actually, with some good writing , it could work
It would blend the two worlds seamlessly, bringing another layer of depth to both…
fun fact: the writer for John wick also wrote this movie, and said that both of the movies are in the same universe
Deckard shaw will kick their asses 😂
Best movie I've watched in a long time. Comedy. Action. Utter brutality. Hutch and John Wick should team up 🤣
Indeed! 'Nobody' offers a perfect blend of comedy, action, and brutal intensity. The idea of a Hutch and John Wick team-up is simply thrilling!
Guess being a lawyer hasn't been kind enough to Saul
Top tier comment😂
Neither is working at cinnabon!🤣🤣🤣
Agreed! The actor's performances in 'Better Call Saul' and 'Nobody' showcase his incredible versatility and talent. He truly shines in every role!
The Moral of this story is to treat Everyone you meet with respect & kindness. You never know who has a Demon living inside them, waiting for the day to be released.
I am that demon still hiding
Tik tok reference
Absolutely! The moral lesson in 'Nobody' reminds us to treat everyone with respect and kindness, for we never know the depths of what lies beneath.
Nobody is actually a distant relative of John Wick.
And Robert McCall
@LAW I mean both films are made by same group and the director once made a comment that they can make a cross over if situation permitted.
@@jazzymars30 The original one, that white old guy who looks like a fairly wealthy retired banker or something?
The one problem I had with the remake movie is actually that they made the new McCall into somebody who you could have guessed to have had a bit rougher upbringing, possibly having experience fighting in the streets when he was younger. One of the appeals of the original was that he looked like somebody who would have had a very soft and possibly pampered life, which made his skills with violence that much more surprising.
Considering the director I connect it to hardcore Henry for laughs
Haha! The notion that 'Nobody' is a distant relative of 'John Wick' adds a humorous twist to their shared universe. Who knows what other surprises await!
Don't mess with a "Nobody" person for ur own safety. This bad ass Hutch needs to give as sequel movie. Gr8 recapped, thnx.
there is a sequal already planned.
@@conchayftw oh ok that's good.
@conchayftw~ perhaps not due to Bob's recent health issues..
You hit the nail on the head! Hutch's transformation from an ordinary nobody to an unstoppable force is what makes 'Nobody' so captivating. Such a great recap, thank you!
The moral lesson here is don't mess with an extremely dangerous man's family
thanks. Was about to do exactly that - but now that you say it ;-)
Absolutely! 'Nobody' reminds us of the importance of protecting our loved ones at all costs, adding depth and resonance to its action-packed storyline.
Hutch's dad. Smooth Criminal. OG's rarely get weaker nor less talented. Just smoother.🎉😂
I liked this guy on Better Call Saul / BB and I like him here. He's such a good actor, much respect.
Absolutely! From 'Better Call Saul' to 'Nobody,' the actor's commitment and skill shine through, earning him well-deserved respect and admiration.
Love this movie, the scene where throws the chair at the guy in the hospital bed is just so funny😂
That scene was a riot! Moments like the chair throw add a unique blend of action and humor that makes 'Nobody' such a standout film.
Sooooo is no one gonna talk about how slick the old man was with putting his pinky between the hammer and the primer, those are the details I like to see.
Absolutely! The attention to detail, like the clever use of firearms, adds layers of authenticity to the movie, enriching the viewing experience for all.
He placed it between the hammer and firing pin or firing pin transfer bar, depending on the series of 1911.
I would love a Sequel of this movie its so cool.
The excitement for a sequel to 'Nobody' speaks volumes about its impact and the audience's hunger for more. Let's keep our fingers crossed for what's to come!
I’ve always wondered if there’s actually people like this in real life lol
You'll never know.
Yeah... Me.
Yes.
Ahhh they'll track you down. Continue being a bad ass shhh👌
prolly they do exist
Yes please a sequel
Its confirmed
The enthusiasm for a sequel to 'Nobody' is contagious! It's a testament to the movie's enduring impact and the anticipation for what's next in store.
Hutch is like John wick instead of the dog that gets hurt its his family
Absolutely! Hutch shares that same relentless determination to protect what's dear to him, just like John Wick. Both characters are unforgettable in their own right!
When you're in trouble like this guy... You better call Saul
Absolutely! When in trouble, you better call Saul! That reference adds a delightful touch of humor to Hutch's escapades.
The funniest bits in the movie are the ones where the moment someone realize just who he is immediately either quit or respect him. Like the guys in the tattoo parlor or the girl getting information for the bad guy.
Those moments of revelation are pure gold! Whether it's respect or a swift exit, Hutch's encounters keep us entertained and on the edge of our seats.
Moral: Dont mess with Nobody and if you are in trouble, "Better call Saul"
Absolutely! The moral of the story: don't mess with Nobody, and if you're in trouble, better call Saul! It's all about having the right kind of backup.
He is a John wick in a different universe where his wife didn't die and had a family and went years not being in the game instead of what a few years of marriage and after death, a week.
This movie actually happens in the same universe as John Wick.
But of course it is in the same universe, he was john wicks lawyer in his multiple- murder case from part 1, 2 and 3.
Two hours passed after he became an assassin to fight bad guys off
Two hours of action-packed intensity! Hutch's journey from ordinary to extraordinary keeps us hooked from start to finish.
And two hours earlier before he became an assassin to fight bad guys
Nobody: John Wick for seniors! (Take this a compliment because I love this movie!)
The lead in this is just one year older than Reeves

hutch same the same DNA of reacher, wick and rambo.😂😂😂
Haha! Hutch definitely shares the DNA of some legendary action heroes. He's in a league of his own when it comes to taking down the bad guys!
We need a sequel with him and his brother and the villain should be played by Sam Rockwell I bet it would be a fun movie
What I'd like is a story of him starting to teach some of his skills to his family after he figures he can't always be there to protect them. There is an old movie from the 1980s or early 1990s, I think, with a somewhat similar premise, where the unassuming seeming father used to work for the CIA or something, and some of his old enemies find him and his wife gets kidnapped, after which he and his nearly grown son go on a rescue mission. The son thought his father was a pretty milquetoast individual, and part of the occasional comedic elements come from him being constantly surprised by what dad is actually capable of. Going back to Nobody when his son is old enough for some of the violence, and needs to learn the family traditions, might make for a decent story, plus when it comes to suprises, having a scene where the wife gets in danger, everybody kind of assumes that she will be a totally helpless victim but turns out he has actually taught her a lot and she can give a pretty good defense and knows how to handle guns if necessary would fit that "surprise!" element of the story pretty well.
If the story doesn't turn her into somebody who can beat up men twice her size with her bare fists, that is. Just make her smart, and knowing how to shoot, and with the ability to kill when necessary. Perhaps she doesn't like doing it, and didn't want her kids to learn violence, but when she figures that it is necessary she can, and finally also figures that maybe teaching their kids, starting with the son who would by then be old enough, at least enough that they can also defend themselves if necessary would be smart.
@@pohjanakka4992 Don't ever set foot in a movie studio
That sounds like an exciting idea! A sequel with Hutch, his brother, and Sam Rockwell as the villain would be a blast. The possibilities are endless!
Hutchs father is bad ass 😂😂😂😂😂
Absolutely! Hutch's father is a force to be reckoned with, adding another layer of toughness to the family dynamic.
idk if this dude is more OP than john wick
More realistic than john wick though.
@@Ungovernable_Schizo Still doesnt take away the fact that John Wick is the G.O.A.T, realistic or not
He is more realistic and unlike John doesn't do some random unnecessary Judo throws in a fight and then shoots the guy.
But John wick is stronger
Such a good movie
In every movie if there is deadly killer everybody put john wick name

Yeah, I'm still undecided about this channel. The "script" is just wrong so often. Don't know if the narration is a bot or just plain bad sometimes. Good movie though.

They took Equalizer and John Wick and made this.
Actually they used me as a muse for both characters. Just different times of my life. Hutch was a job in Hutchinson, Kansas.
When I was 15 I destroyed a mafia for running a trafficking ring out of my mother’s rent house. Things got crazy from there.
Nobody is in the John Wick universe.
