ive been a follower for i dont know how long now and im binge watching your videos today. my angelfishes just spawned and i need help. your videos are a big help. im now confident i will do well in taking care of the eggs and the future fishes. thanks!!!
My tricolor male and phillipino blue zebra female lay eggs all the time, but they generally eat them. Right now it's been 48 hours and many have turned white, but a lot are still opaque and both fish are fanning the eggs that were layed on my UV sterilizer
Keep water pristine, research fry foods, (decapsulated baby brine/live brine shrimp etc) make sure intake of filter has a pre filter sponge, if community and have another tank ready, isolate the eggs with the parents or research artificial hatching. Or do nothing and let nature take its course.
MasterAquatics i was a bit worried about this one that kept hiding around the filter and wasn't very active but now he or she ( I don't know it's gender yet ) is moving around more and not hiding as much but thanks if i need do need help I'll ask and hope you can help me
Hey, thank you for responding to my page about my Angel Fish. I had responded back but went to edit my post and accidentally deleted both my and your post. Well as you know they had spawned and I was super excited, a day went by and some of the eggs had turned white, then I knew my male had not fertilize the eggs or maybe it was the place they had laid the eggs. It was right Infront on my return for my filter, so maybe if he was trying to do his job the flow just washed his sperm away. Well try, try again. It was their first spawn and the female is now showing signs of producing more eggs. I will have my 45 gallon set up this time and be ready. Thank you again for your response. :)
I have 150 gallon tank 3 angel fish ,bar couple duarf guame, and few other fish, if I put a plastic tube with a plant would that be sufficient ? I'm worried all the fish will eat the eggs
Hey my angel laid eggs twice already but the female keep earring them all what should I do and also the egg, I would have a couple that are white does that mean it wasn't fertilize
Hey Master Aquatics I have 60 gallon tank with two par each of angel fish and its my first time, both per laid there eggs and I change the filter suction tube to the black foam cuase I dont want them kill. I want the angel fish parent do there job. what type of food I need to buy for the little ones. I live in a tropical Isla and the temp. is from 74F too 90F.
My wiggler are doing great. The female takes care them, the male try to run me off when I get to close to the tank. I'm hopping to have them free swimming in about 3 days. this is their 4th try and this time their doing great. Thanks for the video.
Great video. Thanks for sharing. My angel laid her eggs un the upper stem of the filter. I am afraid they will all get sucked into filter when they hatch. Any suggestions?
My angels eggs are moving today...I'm so excited...this is there 3rd try and this time it's realy gonna happen...I have a 55 gallon tank with 42 other small fish..will the baby angels be ok in my tank?
I had a lot of white eggs and when they started to hatch over the white eggs was what looked like a clear film . Off to the other side I see 4 to 5 tails think they will be more ?
Hi… it looks like I have a pregnant female and she and mate were lip locking today. I’m by worried about her laying eggs as it’s a community tank ( I really didn’t anticipate mating) I have black neons, mollies, cory cats and a pleco. I’m concerned about dead fish… babies and/or tank mates. Any suggestions?
I really don’t have the funds to buy an set up a tank for the fry I just but a divider on my 75 gallon hope they will do fine like that an thanks man I always look at yo videos every time my fish lay eggs helps out a lot
So my angel fish laid eggs and they were fertilize a few days later I saw some of them start to wiggle but they were still stuck to the wall of the tank now today I don’t see any of the egg or the wiggle or are they still in there or did the parent eat them they’re still seeming protective should I wait and see if they come out or should I just mess with the tank like I wanted to I Iwanted to clean my tank but maybe I shouldn’t now?
Plizz help me: I didn't know that I had male and female angel fish and today when I went to feed them I saw a bunch of "wigglers" On a plant in the tank now the angel fish just keep chaseing the other fish and idk what to do but feed the fish.... If u can help it would help alot
Just Sav gaming I am way late but after they are wrigglers they won't eat and you shouldn't feed them until they leave the pile and become free swimming (about 12 hours after free swimming). They will stay wrigglers for about 5-6 days or so after they hatch and they don't eat so no point in giving them food. The rotting food would kill them.
i got some eggs last night after water change day.. i am worried because I had to go to work this morning and I have a large pleco in the tank :/ the parents seemed very close to the eggs. hope it all goes well!!! the fish that laid are so pretty 😍
Okay so my angel fish have been together for a month or two and I just found out they had a batch of eggs on the side of my filter! The mom is very protective over the eggs. I’m gonna try what your doing by letting the parents raise them, wish me luck.. and if they are born on the size of the filter will they fall? Or what is the difference of being born on a filter. Thanks in advance!
our angels just laid eggs on the filter tube we are so afraid of other fish eating babies or eggs how did you do making sure the parents accepted the eggs again when you changed the tank "? also we have a few white eggs rather than the clearer ones that means they are not fertalized or died right? thanks so much for this video this is awesome

Hi my name is Natalie my angles laid eggs and things where going good they stayed by them, watching over them I have a community tank and by the time I new that it was eggs it was to late for me to do anything so I got a plexiglass made little holes so I could divide because I have one fish that would have eaten them, but know there are less and less eggs. I know some of them have fallen off of where they laid them. I did see them get them and put them back. But I am still seeing less. Are they just eating them I am soon sad I wanted baby's how long before they lay eggs again please help
I’ve got 2 pairs in my 60 gallon. Ones pair eat them and the other pair get to mean. This last time I put the babies in there own 10 gallon tank after there 3-4 of eating them. My question is... do I need to use a filter? Right now I’m using a air stone 2 mini heaters and that’s it. I do have a hang over the side filter but I don’t want them to get sucked in. So do I need to use a filter or will they grow up the way I got it setup?
I gave a breeding pair I’m hoping they raise them I don’t want to raise angels again But I have 2 bottom feeders and a pleco in there will they raise them with other fish in there with them
Can wigglers develop at different times. My last batch which 14 survived something bigger than the others. I know that two detached early. I’m just wondering because this new batch I only see four that are wigglers hoping there are more
Hi how are you? TheMinecrafterMedia answer to putting neons with angels I would say no as I had 17 neons and now have 9 due to my big black angel fish eating them whole ! Trust me don't do it
In nature, neon tetra are a food source to the Altum angel, as well as the Scalare, so they’ll go for them. If you feed them well enough or have well behaved specimens, they should be fine.
Nice wigglers! My fish layed eggs for the 5th time a couple days ago and they all turn white by day 2 every time. I think my male might not be fertile ...
Ian R try feeding them 3 times a day flakes bloodworms and brine shrimp and do a really good water change. you can also try hatching them yourself if you are having trouble.
My black marble and striped angelfish paired up and laid over 20 eggs on a large amazon sword leaf. I rehomed the other angelfish thats gold and black today because he keeps on getting chased and picked on by the pair. Anyways should i buy a tanks divider for them since i have lots of other fish in the 55 gallon tank. 3 siamese algae eaters, 6 otocinclus catfish, 2 emerald danios, 1 celestial pearl danio, 1 rubberlip pleco, 1 platy, and a nerite snail.
We just noticed yesterday that our angelfish laid eggs on the glass. The parents aren't letting any other fish near them. When should we move them or should we put a divider in the tank? Good luck on yours and great video!
He had a space issue. Angelfish can breed and thrive as a pair in the 29 he moved them to, and they had a 125 to themselves. That would be bad if the parents lost the fry, because then the fry can’t find their parents an might die.
the eggs are in a community tank and i cant remove all the other fishes and leave the angelfishes. is it okay to move the angelfish and the eggs to a tank of their own?
Yes. I recommend moving the pair and eggs to their own tank. This will keep the other fish from stressing them out. But moving them might stress them out enough to eat their own eggs, but that is ok, because more then likley they will lay eggs for you again in about a week or so.
Dawn Cox after a healthy breeding pair of freshwater angel fish will lay eggs every two to three weeks if they don't have the babies to take care of, like let's say the eggs failed, or you removed the babies. 2-3 weeks later they can lay eggs again and try over.
Omg please help me! My anglefish just laid their eggs yesterday and i don't know what to do! 😭 ....And why are the eggs have 2 col ours...like some are white and some are clear? Which colour means it's fertillized? Please reply! 🙏🙏🙏😫
Rada Prapaikornkiet the white ones are bad, but it really don't matter because you can't really separate them or anything anyways you'll just damage the viable eggs trying to. Let the parents do their thing the eggs will hatch in about 60 hours or so depending on you tank temperature ( it will happen sometime on day 3). Once they become wrigglers the parents will pile them up somewhere to take care of them for the next 5 days or so as they are wrigglers. During this period you can suck up the wrigglers with a turkey baster and put them in a different tank or bowl with aireation, and once they are free swimming (about 12 hours after they are able to eat) you can grind up flake food to a fine powder and add a bit of water and mix so it's fine particles in water and feed them with an eye dropper (just a little food will do they are small) Also should mention don't use chlorinated water for the food mix. People overlook it and it can be disasterous. Use water from your tank you keep them in to keep everything the same.
Hi dude my angel fish paired up and laid eggs the black marble and the yellow marble but the male only fertilised about 15 fry out of about 300 eggs I was pissed off 😠 But they are doing well and parents are really protective Speak soon
4 years late but, takes roughly 48-60 hours for the eggs to hatch and another 2-3 days after that for the wrigglers to become free swimming. Once they are free swimming this is when you have to start feeding them and it's every 4-6 hours. You can try a food called first bites they might or might not eat it. The only other things would be infurorsia or newly hatched brine shrimp. It's got to be tiny for them. They don't need to eat as wrigglers they have the yolk say still when they start swimming then they need food.
This is a good opportunity to update and answer questions at the same time. The pair was the example, because it depends on almost EVERYTHING, including footsteps per minute heard within two feet of the tank. I tried an experiment, fish breed best on tanks with stands and minimal disturbances in or around the tank. Seriously.
Dang u have the luckiest angel pairs ever man. My blue angels suck at being parents XD. they are only good parents in the community tank which is weird but in isolation they eat the eggs like crazy.
Doing that, the plant could tilt and the fry would fall into the gravel, where the parents might lose them(it’s a 125 gallon tank, no fish I’ve ever had will scour all of the floor for food) and they could die. It’s safer that way, guaranteed transport.
I’d like to say that I loved your video but about 90% of it you were off topic very interested in watching the fry develop but thanks for telling us that your camera is not up-to-date and if you’re very nervous and you don’t wanna upset the parents sorry for going off, but I was very disappointed
nah, you got me at "i know how to pick out angelfish". They're not at all picky about their mate and you can't possibly pick fish you know will have good instinct. Byeeee
All angelfish look after theru young not just yours and the only reason the malel does not fertilize all the eggs as he is too young so get your fertilize right before you put a video up

Good luck on moving the baby angel fish
2:09 she ate the fish!
KoltGuy98 6 lol
she spat it back out
They catch their babies and spit them out at the breeding site so they behave and stay where it’s safe.
Yep. 2:25
She spits it back out.
Just recently got my own angelfish and I discovered your channel as they are new fish to me, I've only kept koi until i got my angels

I'm very puzzled now. I have ONE Angelfish in a community tank. As far as I can tell she laid eggs on the filter wall thursday night...

MasterAquatics Now that you mention it what should I look for when buying an angelfish?
@@MasterAquatics my koi angelfish and marble angelfish have laid their eggs and I can't wait to see a hybrid of the two!!

Hi good day. When I shall remove the slate to another thank or wait for the male to fetelize or after a day of laying eggs.

If you cant see them, then they are likely dead.
@@MasterAquatics okay because there still acting territorial and aggressive. So I was just making sure

the females are usually smaller and more rounded but are a little thicker ( carrying eggs ).

if you hatching the eggs yourself at what state you Start giving them food and what kind of food
So how long does it take to eggs to hatch it's just a easy question and it should be a easy answer not 10 minutes
This is a good opportunity to update and answer questions at the same time. The pair was the example, because it depends on almost EVERYTHING, including footsteps per minute heard within two feet of the tank. I tried an experiment, fish breed best on tanks with stands and minimal disturbances in or around the tank. Seriously.
I agree . Lol
Love u man and u are very helpful keep up the good work man👍🏾
VaNcAdE RaZer haha thanks man.
were you been lol looking good I got a new video
big j aquatics cool man.
Nice video 👌👍
Funny Fish thank you
How many days to hatch?
About 2 to 3 days
Hi thanx for your videos.
Dang u have the luckiest angel pairs ever man. My blue angels suck at being parents XD. they are only good parents in the community tank which is weird but in isolation they eat the eggs like crazy.
My fish are eating the eggs so I removed them. Why did they eat them
Good luck!
TankOn thank you :)
Why can’t you leave then in this tank?
Yes i want to hatch angel fish eggs
You can also move the plant with those eggs into a new tank instead of using a turkey baster.
SomewhatNiceFellow i was thinking that too. but i feel more comfortable with the turkey baster method lol
If they are eggs. If they are wrigglers, turkey baster. Just suck up the pile.
Doing that, the plant could tilt and the fry would fall into the gravel, where the parents might lose them(it’s a 125 gallon tank, no fish I’ve ever had will scour all of the floor for food) and they could die. It’s safer that way, guaranteed transport.
My mom has angel fish today is their third time laying eggs

Me too! I have all gourami and one female angelfish so I think they did some crossbreeding. What was your final results??
4 days for the average rate it'll take 4 days.
I’d like to say that I loved your video but about 90% of it you were off topic very interested in watching the fry develop but thanks for telling us that your camera is not up-to-date and if you’re very nervous and you don’t wanna upset the parents sorry for going off, but I was very disappointed
some angel fish are like humans they don't take care of their kids too
yeah like dead beat baby daddys and baby mamas.
Talk about a rant off topic
nah, you got me at "i know how to pick out angelfish".
They're not at all picky about their mate and you can't possibly pick fish you know will have good instinct. Byeeee
All angelfish look after theru young not just yours and the only reason the malel does not fertilize all the eggs as he is too young so get your fertilize right before you put a video up
He did get his fertilize "right". Ofc some eggs will fail. And not all angel fish look after their babies. Sometimes they just eat them.
🛑🛑 Baby thief!!
Couldn't get passed the first minute and 29 seconds dude. Get to the point. Thumbs down
Baby theft. ;)
