A huge help for us 'ear players' trying to work our way backwards to get from decipherer-level to actual sight- reader level when it comes to sheet music. Playing what sounds good comes naturally for me plus engages my audiences to actively listen and have done so successfully for close to 30 years. But in my latter years, I'm now enjoying practicing the self-discipline and intellectual challenge of playing a composition accurately and NOT puttimg my OWN bias on a piece of music. Thanks! Counting the rhythms accurately FIRST BEFORE deciphering the pitches has helped me make a lot of progress. Getting there and not giving up...
P.S. PLEASE continue to post these 'unconventional ' rhythms where I can follow a pro counting the sheets music. for people who enjoy Sudoku and crossword puzzles this has the same enjoyment and enrichment for me. Thanks again
Hy Sir, you're very funny but at the same time very professional teaching these unconvential rhythms, one question: I've saw other videos on counting various rhythms that use the system 1-e-and-a; 2-e-and-a, etc. What do you think about it ? Also, maybe I'm wrong, but I found sometimes a little bit confusing to remember the exact position inside the beat to count ti instead te or ta, struggling to find a better way for my poor brain!!! What do you think ? Best regards, good music to you too!!!

You must be a really good teacher...you make something boring become fun and easy. It would be pretty good to have you as a teacher.
Beautiful lessons
Thank you sir. Hope you grew in knowledge and mirth!
Thank you!
