After buying my SPS setup I soon realized that they are far superior, my opinion has changed. I recently bought the SPS American setup the more expensive higher quality unit normally sold in America, it stands head and shoulders over them all, well worth the price.

I want to make a motor with 1" pipe with 3/4 inch shaft using copper pipe fittings for bushing and some lock collars or roll pins. Put in zerk fittings ang grease it alot. Very cheap to build!

I am pretty sure the props are all made by the same company. I import the CLP brand to the USA and sometimes the props have SPS marked on them. I could easily find out but based on that I assume they are all made in the same place.

+Robert Milner I doubt it. KKK was the old company 50 plus years old, then the old owner split off and made a new company called SPS. ClP is a different company altogether that "as you may know" make farm equipment and have their own CLP brand props. CLP can and may use SPS or KKK and a secondary provider may sell units with any prop they want. I am sure the three are made in three separate factories. I could look them up, I once knew where they were made. They look quite different, although the SPS and KKK look similar because SPS came from KKK. The original KKK owner had a partner and they had a falling out, that original owner/designer split off and started the SPS brand. Actually I know way too much about such a trivial thing. Hey, Don't forget to have fun and good luck selling CLP's.

+Walkertongdee I just assumed there was one propeller manufacturer that supplied CLP, SPS and KKK with props.(all the props I have seen in the US have seemed the same to me- some are "polished" some aren't) I have never bothered to ask. I am familiar with all 3 brands. I have been working(distributing their product in the USA) with CLP for 3 years now and they are great to deal with. Duck hunters and fisherman love using the Thai longtails and they are getting much more popular here now. It is a lot of fun and I use/test mine weekly. Cheers

Yes same,same.. The CLP with the predictor should be very light the 6 hp. especially so.
      Have fun!
