Converge, here in Pampanga (central Luzon) is hit and miss. When they installed internet in our new house, service only lasted 12 hours, before the wire connection on the back of the router failed! Remember, everything in the Philippines is only "good enough" ie CHEAP!
You have a lot of future plans, Michael. Good luck, especially dealing with the ever-changing situations here!
Sometimes it takes a couple days to work the bugs out of a connection.. just one bad cable between you and the provider 😉

Have you considered serving "kinilaw" at your bar....it goes well with beer....we use "kinilaw" as pulutan (hors d'oeuvres) while drinking beer....easy to make

Have you thought about a constant live stream from the bar so that subscribers can watch the daily goings on? You can simply play a non-copy righted audio loop? For sure it would be a great way to get some passive income and also allow customers to see if a table is available prior to coming over your way

Fun idea. bar/restaurant on beach in Philippines. Hope you succeed. I've onwned many restauranr in PI and USA. But in PI with American style food. , in secondary city, that's a tough grind. I've tried many times, with larger,1st and 2nd rate city. Staffed with professional chef. Unfortunately, minimal revenue. The few that manage to be successful were pinoy menu with mix of Japanese food. Western food in Rizal will be a tough sell. Goodluck restaurant is the toughest business to get into in PI, the competion is enornous with many challenges.
