i killed the warden using unenchanted netherite armor, about ten notch apples, 3 quick charge loaded with harming arrows, a shield and sword, and 3 stacks of ender pearls only dying once. and thats with the new improved warden, with the boom attack and higher reach. mojang really need to make it more powerful
4:38 you can see that there is a wool path there . That is because building or walking on wool does not make a sound , atleast for the warden. So if want to escape a warden , wool would be quite helpful

SB just a quick note. I know you're a great player, but you should probably break the sculk sensors (the ones with the wavy tentacle things) as the sculk shriekers (the ones you were breaking) are literally useless without them. Like just if you wanted to do it in your Hardcore world. Also, the warden doesn't count in the "Monsters Hunted" achievement, but the new darkness effect might count for "How Did We Get Here?".
There are more sensors than shriekers, so since there are multiple sensors, breaking one of them will activat the shrieker (which there are usually one in each section), it wouldn’t be better in his scenario as the shriekers would actually get activated by a different sensor

The fact you get a sculk catalyst for Warden kills now makes sense. I didn't think much of that reward when I learned about it, but I realize now that sculk is really good for XP farming, so defeating the Warden actually has a purpose.
This guy is an absolute legend! Defeating the strongest mob in the hardest mode is only what real legends can do! from thousands of days in hardcore to defeating hard bosses, SB is the best! Hats off!
He also didn’t just cheese it the entire time like most players, because he actually prepared in survival and had to learn its weaknesses through experience.
i also thought like this. but point is , MC has not been considered as a survival- horror game like Forest 1,2. It's a survival game but it has some horror parts. but generally it's not about only horror. everything just depends on you. You can live on the ground with flowers and cows dealing with farm at the same time you can search underground darkness in order to find warden an kill him. it has horror parts actually. sometimes you can hear horrible sounds in the darkness in deep caves .
The warden is not fire-proof. If you’re at the high ground like he was, just pour a bucket of lava on him. The only risk here is that his hurt noises may summon another warden who isn’t below you

Fun fact the Warden is now not an undead mob, has a range attack and is immune to fire, while also being fast at lava/water swimming. Oh and it totally focuses the player now instead of standing still. All of this... just for a swift sneak enchantment. Yeah not worth it.

I cannot imagine how stressful fighting the warden must be! Being chased by a 4 block tall monster that can catch up to you even with speed 2 and can 2 hit you in full netherite.
12:05 The creeper couldn't have blown up the apple, because it only explodes once (and that one explosion destroyed the minecart chest that carried the god apple, which then made it drop). This mechanic is like when a player explodes - the items will not be destroyed because they are dropped during/after the explosion.

I love the swift sneak enchantment but I really hope there is more reasoning to travel to the deep dark, because if they eventually find ways for the warden to counteract cheese mechanics like building up and stuff like that when it comes to defeating him. There's gonna need to be a way larger motivation than just sculk and swift sneak for hardcore players. I mean imagine risking a thousand+ world for an enchant and some potential redstone contraptions. I love every part of the deep dark so far, really look forward to what more is unveiled about it in the near future with the wild update. While on the topic of swift sneak, It really does have a bunch of applications in game. First and most obviously is sneaking in the deep dark, but the enchants viability doesn't end there. When your building in the air while holding shift on the ledge, swift sneak will really benefit builders because it will speed up your blocks placed per minute due to being able to sneak at a faster rate. Obviously this also has many applications in pvp/manhunt type modes, where you need to hide your name-tag but also stay on the run, Being able to to maintain walk speed while sneaking and making a run for it is unbelievably useful. And I'm sure there are a ton more applications that I haven't thought of, but for what might seem like a throwaway enchant, swift sneak is actually SUPER useful in most modes of minecraft. I always get super excited when more enchantments are added to the game, it's more to grind for in my survival world, and I'll never complain when it comes to having more stuff to acquire.
It's been a few months. It is smart, fast, immune to fire, takes no knockback, has a ranged attack that bypasses armor and protection enchantments, and is very *very* dangerous.
when the 1.19 comes, it will be another enchantment for sb's boots and we will get to see some really good fight between warden and sb. If loot after killing a warden will be upgraded, that has not been confirmed by mojang yet
the Warden is way more powerful. It can find you from 20 blocks away, it now has a sonic beam attack dealing very high damage. The Warden is even more terrifying

This is ridiculous. When I downloaded the snapshot the warden killed me instantly! Minecraft requires skill and SB is the one that has that.

You can actually use master turtle potions to go full meelee with the Warden as of right now. Purposefully triggering the sonic attack helps you even more as it does little to no damage with resistance IV
