Growing birdseed. How much sunflower seed do you get from 1 seed?

I was curious how much seed I would get if I planted some birdseed seeds. I planted a few sunflower seeds in a shallow styrofoam container and watched them grow. Was it a bumper crop to celebrate, or just a waste of time? You'll have to watch to find out.
Momo doesn't eat a lot of seed but mainly fruit, vegetables and pellets, so our seed requirements may be less than yours. We are not offering dietary advice on feeding birds.

Not sure exactly, I think it's a eucalyptus, got it as an unfinished project. It's incredibly heavy 🤣

I might grow some, for the flowers and wild birds can eat the seeds. 😀

i was worried the local birds would find them and beat me to it, but they didn't 😁
