Bonnie, your Wishbone sweater on you is stunning! Just gorgeous and all of this progress as a new-to-knitting-garments knitter. WOW. Thanks for another great podcast. Well, for me, I am grateful for my kind gently caring husband, my two fabulous adult sons establishing their independent lives, loves and careers, and KNITTING! Also, for our worldwide knitting community who share and support each other - what a great large group of loving people to be a part of. Happy New Year Bonnie and to all 🥰🤎
Oh wow, that Wishbone, the cables, the color! I want one so badly now. I've got my knitting all planned out for the next few months, knitting that has to get finished before babies arrive, before loved ones have birthdays, but I just bought the pattern, so that's one stitch in the right direction. 2024 was not my favorite year, but we did add another two grandchildren to the collection (baby knits are fast and easy) and we had a trip to Cyprus and a trip to northern Greece, where I picked up some pretty cool souvenir yarn, so there's knitting on those to look forward to in 2025. We're also expecting another grandchild soon (#20, they're like potato chips, you can't stop), so more fun mini-knits to come as well. That's for another interesting podcast, and for the inspiration.
Your wishbone sweater....wow! Everything about it... color, fit, style... perfection on you. I've been with you since post 1 and it's been a joy to watch and see what you're up to. The hue shift Afghan was maybe my favorite and i couldn't believe 2 things... that you could gift it and that you immediately started another. Lastly, that was very clever to do that little tuck at the bottom of your ranuculus. Nice modification.
Congratulations 👏🏻 I am thankful for life and health, God is so good to all of us, but to those of us who are older, dare I say almost 80 👏🏻 and still knitting everyday, what a blessing 🙏🏻
The minute you held up your ranunculus, I finally added the ranunculus to my queue for some red yarn I have in stash. Then when you showed it with the skirt...jaw dropped! Keeping those little seams in mind. Your wishbone is amazing too, these reds are totally making my day.
Bonnie, I agree that this sweater is A WORK OF ART. I think I might want to knit this sweater, but having asthma, I cannot wear a polo type neck - I will have to shorten the neck ribbing a LOT. I just wonder if that would not take away from this sweater. You did an awesome job of this. About 8 years ago did a KAL on the Craftsy platform. The sweater was just as over-sized and the teacher said that it is a design element to compensate for the over-sized body to make the sweater fit more comfortably and also for how it looks. After thinking a lot about it and looking at the photos of some of the other participants, it made sense to me. The sweater looks gorgeous. My honest opinion is that it looks very good on you, but if you feel uncomfortable, you should do what you find comfortable.
You have some amazing and stunning finished sweaters! Obviously the Wishbone is great, I can imagine you're proud of it. And the Ponderosa looks very cosy on you. I actually have it in my ravelry wishlist, so if I get to it some day it's good to know that I should not decrease the sleeves as fast as the pattern says.
Wow, the ranunculus with your beautiful skirt looks very good on you! You're a fast learner considering this is your first year of knitting garments, congratulations with all of them ❤

Wow! Busy woman. Lovely knits. Good to see you!
You are so inspiring! I just bought the ponderosa sweater pattern and the yarn to make it. I'm excited! I'm most grateful for my family.❤🧶
❤ Love the ponderosa - looking forward to seeing your next one ;)
I’m knitting the wishbone sweater while watching! Yours is beautiful!
All the sweaters you made are gorgeous, but I am partial to the wishbone sweater. It looks absolutely beautiful on you.
Absolutely crushing it. Wishbone looks so nice!!
