I’m late to the party but wanted to thank you for the tutorial. I’m wasting time trying to find the right color wig when I can create the color myself! Thanks again!!
I wanted to know if this works on human hair ? I have black box dye over my hair, i was going to do color remover and maybe this method to get to a nice copper brown color.. any tips?
i don’t recommend it! it’s safer to use a developer with a color or bleach to lift on your natural hair especially if it’s previously colored with black box dye. black is extremely challenging to remove & box dye is unpredictable to know the outcome after lightening. try mixing with color or good quality bleach with a low developer like 20vol (no higher than 20vol) 🩷
This turned out so pretty! Do you have to do anything to protect the lace? I’m trying to lighten my wig just a little bit and I don’t want to damage the lace!
i’ve seen it done before! i believe it works the same just be careful not to leave it on too long because you don’t want to dry it out or damage your hair 🤍
I followed everything to the T and my wig still looks very dark, it looks maybe a shade lighter but I left the 30V developer on for 9 hours. Not sure what to do now
oh no! unfortunately, sometimes it could just be the wig. if you're not against using bleach, an alternative is you could do a bleach bath. fill up a bucket of water (not too much) and add in 1-3 scoops of bleach (depending on how much water) with 10 or 20 vol developer. it will turn pretty quickly so i would check on it every 5 minutes. it usually takes no longer than 15 minutes! i hope this helps! 🤍
I'm a guy and wear a hair system. Somehow (had to be my stylist) my nice medium brown human hair system got dyed dark black just on one noticeable section of the back (like a quarter of the wig). Do you think this could work for me if I use that developer just on the section that is back?
i'm not sure because i know this method really work best if the hair is virgin/never been dyed. i don't think anything would happen if you tried though! but if it was dyed black, it would be tougher to get it back lighter.
Can NOT put 40 volume developer in your hair omg not real hair that will MOST DEFINITELY BE THE WORST!!! How do I know me and other people I know our hair LITERALLY burnt off broke off so badly at the ends! If it’s the wig then it will work but MOST DEFINITELY NOT ON REAL HAIR!!! Please no 30 or 40 developer on BLACK HAIR!!!!!!
For natural hair, I wouldn’t suggest it. There’s a huge possibility it wouldn’t work on your natural hair and can be damaging if you leave it on too long. It’s best to just use bleach or color with it on your natural hair.
Actually, don’t comment on her lashes when that’s not the point of the video. That’s called a backhanded compliment; which was one hundred percent unnecessary and irrelevant on your behalf! First of all, you did that sis! It came out so beautiful 😍 just wondering, should I bleach my knots before doing this or after?
thank you ❤️❤️ either should be fine but i would probably do it before this!
@@SamilJulissa Thanks! 😊
Hello
Please, what is the name of the dye you use and the color . I want to dye my wig from gold to brown
I wanted to know if this works on human hair ? I have black box dye over my hair, i was going to do color remover and maybe this method to get to a nice copper brown color.. any tips?

@@SamilJulissa Thank you so much. This is really helpful !!
@@SamilJulissathank you I was wondering the same about dyed dark brown hair
Appreciate the tutorial and your Precious... Definitely trying on my wig. And the color turned out nice and finished look was Lovely!😃
Was it a human hair wig
This turned out so pretty! Do you have to do anything to protect the lace? I’m trying to lighten my wig just a little bit and I don’t want to damage the lace!
thank you! 🤍 sometimes you can spray got2b spray on the lace to create a barrier.
@@SamilJulissa thank you so much, friend! 🥰
Please can I use this method on a cool blonde hair ? (Wig)
Great tutorial, do you wash the developer out with shampoo after? Or just rinse?
i think i used shampoo and conditioner afterwards 🤍
Did you put the wig in a bag whilst you were waiting for the developer to lighten it or did you just leave the wig out
i left it out! but either should work :)
Love the video! What developer did you use? You probably showed it and I just missed it
either 30 or 40 vol i can't remember! and thank you! 🤍🤍
you snapped!!!
thank you ❤️❤️❤️
dumb question but if you did this again, would it be lighter or would it damage the wig
Im trynna know too cause I wanted to slowly lighten my hair to blonde
It came out so cute😍 I just want to know tho, can I use the exact same method on my natural hair?
i’ve seen it done before! i believe it works the same just be careful not to leave it on too long because you don’t want to dry it out or damage your hair 🤍
@@SamilJulissa alright, thank you sm❤️
@keishatatum did you try it on your hair?
you did great girly 😍
THANK U SO MUCH FOR THIS INSIGHT🦋😍🦋😍
Hey love did you put it in any time of plastic bag or did you just leave the bundles on the black trash bag you had for 7 hours ? Thannk you 🩵🩵🩵
I honestly just let it sit there 😂 but trapping the heat inside a plastic bag probably will work better!

It worked! Thanks ❤️
How can I make the hair brighter with this product
09:47AM: Beautiful. Thks
do you have a link to the wig?
Wow beautiful color! Thank you for sharing ❤
Hey love is it ok to do this on a new wig that hasn’t been bleached or plucked
yes love!
@@SamilJulissa thank you hun
The compete process of shampooing & conditioner PLEASE
does it work on synthetic wigs too?
if i want to try this with a headband wig, do i need to avoid getting developer on the headband/hair net part?
Did you shampoo it ?
And do you have to shampoo it?
Fabulous!🤓
I love it, too.😊

yes, agreed! this was for wigs/bundles only. you should only use up to 20 vol on natural hair.
what works for black hair then ? for blonde highlights
@@SamilJulissagood thing I read this. So should it still sit for 7 hours
can i put developer on a burgundy wig to make it a little lighter ?
Then what ? Omg
How long did you leave it on
Do you shampoo the hair afterwards?
I want to do this on my hair so do I leave it in my hair for 7 hrs?
noooo i’m not sure the proper way to do it with natural hair 😭
@@SamilJulissa 😭😭 I have relaxed hair so I'm scared to bleach it but I really want to die it to be really light brownn
@@micaellasannda4700 i honestly wouldn’t or ask a professional! relaxed hair can be so fragile, bleaching it could really damage it 😭

Yeah this method didn’t work for me, I left it on for 10hrs and it’s the same color, I tried to dye one bundle
Beautiful
I want to dye my hair like that
Yeah unfortunately this method didn’t work for me, I left it on for 10hrs and it’s the same color, I tried to dye one bundle
Hey Samil!🤓
Me.. sitting here watching this with developer in my natural hair. 7 hours my ass. It’s been 10 mins, lemme gone and just rinse
cryinggg 😂😂😂😂 be careful pls dont leave it in that long on your natural hair. if anything do a bleach soap cap/bath 😭
Didn't see the product for coloring - L'oreal Hi Color? something else? Didn't thumbs up b/c this info. is missing, otherwise well done!
No color was used, just developer to lighten the hair.
@@SamilJulissa Wow! Thx!
Thank you!
So no one has tried and gotten the desired results yet?
Great hair! But the lashes detracted from the entire look! Made it look comical. Use smaller lashes or trip apply mascara to your own.
Lol thanks I appreciate it but this was 2 years ago and my first attempt at lash extensions on myself lol we all have to start somewhere
@SamilJulissa Yeppers. Better to start than to think about it!

Hmm
Developer is bleach
Definitely is lol
Developer and bleach are not the same. They are used together to lighten hair, however separately, they perform different tasks.
Wait whatttt the application is so bad
it’s a wig
