Beautiful! My friend and I are planning a 3 week trip to Iceland next summer and may visit the Westfjords too...What are the locations at 3:20 and 6:08, also what month was this filmed? There seem to be barely any tourists which is why we may go to the Westfjords instead of the popular locations...we want to find the more quiet and remote places, esp. since I am also a landscape photographer: finding the most isolated places are ideal.
Hi :) this video was filmed in the end of August! I don't remember where is the location at 3:20, but if you go to the westfjords you can't miss it, it's just on the mainroad! 6:08 is Latrabjarg and it's wonderful! You won't find lots of tourist in the westfjords, it's a very quite place! I hope you'll enjoy your trip :)
Joona thank you! One of the places we want to go very bad are the Highlands; we're thinking about doing the Laugavegur trek. We are considering going from mid-August to mid-September instead of going during the busy season in the summer. Have you ever been through the highlands in August and if so, what are they like? We would hope to see the highlands when there is only a little snow; we also hope to get a chance to see the Northern Lights...Have you ever seen them in August/September? :-)
Emma Loisch In that time you can see the northern lights! I have been in laugarvegur but it was in februari so im not sure but i think there is little bit snow on that time. Have you ever been in Iceland before?
