I think it's fair to say she's the German version of Taylor Swift although she's not know that much outside of German speaking countries but nevertheless is the 5th or so best selling female artist worldwide. She's not my cup of tea as German Schlager is similar though not a copy of country music and it's way to cheesy for me. I know because I had to endure it more than once or twice in my life :) She may have had a well trained musical/classical upbringing. However if that's true it's an even more severe musical sin so to speak to join the Schlager industry later on in her life. I mean Germany has such a huge music heritage in ALL sorts of musical arts.
