Listen, they've probably met with Ch'en (Sir) and the Lungmen Police Department in general, and decided that perhaps staying out of the LGD's way is good for self-preservation especially if they have Aak on the squad. Like how Penguin Logisitics seems to do everything but standard package delivery other than as a front
There's a distinction between the investigative work that a private detective does and what a criminal investigator with the police does. But yeah, that's a funny line all the same.
the animation is stellar and i love how well they expressed waai fu and jaye’s characters, looking forward to see more of this absolutely lovely series
I love this style of animation -- the vector lines remind me of Flash animation from the olden days, and as a past animator they've done such fantastic work with their techniques and decisions to really bring the characters to life and give this lots of style. Can't wait for more!
It also reminds me a bit of Shin-chan in terms of face-styles (not sure but maybe at 1:23 Hung is making a reference). The chaotic lightning and colorful backgrounds definitely feel like from old popular Newgrounds flash animations.
That was a really good episode. The camera work in the sequence where Waai Fu dashes out from the stage and climbs onto the first floor was really good!

Cool we get to see Uncle Tung, who was mentioned during Code of Brawl event and i think also in Jaye's operator record. In general this episode was cool i guess, this is basically a 10min skit with comical undertone so of course you don't expect anything great but still it was pretty good. It'd be cool if they made other animes in this style where they portray in a comical way the daily lives of another arknights faction
Matoimaru's flower diary, where she gets into weird antics with different operators of RI would be cool. And then cap it off with one of her arrangements themed after the episode.
The animation and style looks amazing and I think a solatorobo anime would work well too, but I wouldn’t get some hopes up for anything and wish it’ll happen eventually though, so I’m pretty sure that will be a good idea for what’s to come sometime soon.
