Look at how Sarah acted towards the Matthew family in the very first episode, when they stop their motorhome and ask Sarah for directions. That is the true Sarah. A murdering psychopath.
The first thing Randall did, when arriving in Fromville, was to take the lead in trying to save Tabitha. No ifs or buts, he just jumped right in when he heard a person needed help. He is my second favourite, after Jade. I also love Victor. My least favourites are Ellis, Marielle and Fatima.

To me Fatima and Ellis are not A characters. They are very likeable but outside of that they don't really do anything. Ellis just exists in relation to Boyd (he's is son, his reason to fight, and the reason why Boyd killed Abby) and Fatima (he's his husband, and maybe the father of Fatima's baby). Fatima is two stereotypes of the hollywood female character : the "reason why" or the pregnant woman. She's just sweet, warm, very good looking, very caring. Most of her screen time is showing her relationship with other characters (mentoring Julie, loving Ellis, and so on) and now it's having a creepy pregnancy. I agree with you, the best characters are the ones with layers because we can relate to them.
People trying to find ways out were: Jade looking for clues and setting up the radio, Abby convinced it's a dream offing random people, Father Khatri wanting to go in the woods with Sara to find a clue, Sara listening to voices who tell her who to unalive to get everyone out, Boyd going into the woods with Sara to find a solution, Jim getting the tower for the radio, Randall for kidnapping Donna to see if she's "in on it," Ethan for trying to put the pictures in sequence and actively involved in the "quest", and maybe Tabitha for attempting to save the children. Everyone else is just making do and not really trying anything new or different.
I disagree with Kristi being tier B, she's tier A, because she is the anchor of the town. Just like on a quest you mentioned, she is the medic that is always there in the town, she can heal you and provide you with new information that might be important to your quest. She is also silently important for the community as she is the "cooler heads prevail" mainstay of Fromville. She is encouraging trying to figure this place out, but not make any rash decisions. Great film as always Igor!
If you put Tillie in A tier, Randall is 100% above. S tier for Randall. If he had more screen time he would be more liked because he is a very good guy that acts like an a*s most of the times, but if you look beyond that, he s right behind the characters like Boyd, Jade and Victor

He is a good actor that suceeded in his role of being a unpredictable ass. Think of the actor who played Joffery from GOT- bro was so good he got death threats. Every story needs an asshole. Lol.), Elgin (Seer ), Tillie ( she is odd and suspicious AF) and Jim ( Bad Dad of the year lol). Everyone else who has a "name" is C. No names are TIER D.
The only characters that try to get out are Jim Tabitha Boyd Randall and Sarah Jade (who I have high hopes for)just stares at the same symbol for two season and would literally be dead if everyone else didn’t give him food he doesn’t help gather

If anyone here want to see Randall's actor play in another show, watch season 4 of "Slasher". (Every season is different so you dont have to watch them in order even tho the s 1 2 and 3 are all great. Season 4 is the best imo
Add Abby, since we see her in Boyd's mind. Brian and Kelly from the bus could be added as a clue, because Boyd talked about "Brian Kelly." (Martin and the Boy in White and the Monsters as a group if we want the opponents.) Christopher, Miranda, Eloise could be added too.
Before I even watch the video all I have to say is if the girl who was gyrating on the guy in colony House during the second episode of the show isn't S tier by the end, I riot!
Tilly being A tier and Kristi being B tier doesn't make sense to me. Tilly was placed as A tier even though we don't really know anything about her. She got A tier because you "think" she might drive the plot forward even though we don't know if she's competent and thus far she hasn't been independent (supporting Fatima and Elgin in their plotlines). Similarly for Kristi it was said that she cannot exist independently and she's not doing much to drive the plot forward even though she is competent. However, I would argue that Kristi is quite integral to advancing the plot. If her character was removed some of the important characters might not be here, therefore her character is important and should be ranked higher. Especially in relation to Tilly. I think if Tilly was ranked lower, I could accept Kristi in B tier, but no way she's less important to the plot than Tilly. I would rather switch Elgin to A tier even instead of Tilly.
The amount of hate Ethan and Jim have online is unbelievable. I mean, Ethan is a kid and there are so many haters saying that he needs to die I can’t. Like guys, it ain’t Stranger Things
I forgot to mention Reggie and Paula. They are at the bottom, but I don't think Reggie was telling the truth about Paula. I believe Reggie was the new Sara. Reggie and Paula moved into Sara and Nathan's house. Reggie runs out of the house covered in blood and yelling about Paula, who looks like Tobey. We didn't see anyone else fall asleep and spontaneously become meatloaf. It makes me think Reggie heard voices just like Sara and took out Paula and the guy putting away the rifle. Then Boyd took him out when he went to fix things.

I think Kenny will sacrifice himself in the end. I see some parallel between Kenny and Jesus. He suffers through a lot of loss and heartbreak yet he keeps moving forwards. Jesus and his father were carpenters right? Kenny and his father worked with wood to create the chess pieces. I'll be watching again from S1E1
i think Dale will die next episode, he will try out the faraway tree and he is the one who ends up in the pool im guessing with half his body hanging out the side of the pool walls.
Victor is autistic. I've wondered if that's why he survived for so long. He also has no plans to leave, since he considers the place to be his home. Victor does try to help the others though, but he knows curiosity kills the cat.
It is possible that he does not have autism. He spent several decades alone in monster land during his formative years. Due to his isolation, he was unable to acquire important socialization skills.
Yes! None of them contribute anything. At least Ellis and Elgin are two strong young men, there has to be lots for them to do. I liked Fatima in the beginning, now I cant stand her or her wimp of a man. Tilly at least, is old, so she can be excused, but she is getting annoying too.
