Thanks for doing this one. Have been thinking of staying in Citadines in June. An expat friend recommended it. Now I worry that it's a bit far down the soi. You mentioned tuk-tuks only running top of the hour. Hmmmm. I guess I could walk it. 😆
I'm not sure how they run. My condo is on the half from 6am to 9am then on the hour 9 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. But I'm close enough to walk. Soi 8 isn't to long and the BTS is at the end of Soi 8. Still, closer is better when it rains
1:42 it's OK, we know what this shot is for, no commentary needed. 😊 I usually stay on soil 8 when I'm in Bangkok. In the heart of the action but can still have peace and quiet during sleep time. Adelphi Suites is great when they have deals.
I’m going to be staying at the Stable Lodge Hotel in soi 8 I saw the restaurant I guess the hotel is there somewhere too and it looks like the quiet end so I’m happy and thanks!!

@@debrafleur5404 Sounds good. I'm sure I'll be around. Prepare for some rain almost every evening. It's too hot for a raincoat, but a nice portable umbrella and some shower shoes. You want the kind that you can wipe dry. Not sandals or flip flops. They will soke up the water. In the raining season, often times you have to wade through a foot of water to get to the train, etc.. Most of us carry a small backpack with shower shoes and the small umbrella. Maybe some heavy freezer Ziplock bags for your camera and purse. It can rain an inch in an hour here. Ok, well see you when you get to town. You can come meet some other people who live here. Shoot me a message when you get to town. Joe

I’ll probably buy some there I’m sure they will have some good rain shoes for me and umbrellas last time I was in Bangkok was 1999 in August and luckily no rain so hopefully not too much rain this time cross fingers! lol! I stayed at the Adelphi Suites in 2022. Very nice but pool is tiny.
I do like a larger pool to swim some laps. I'm lucky my condo pool is large.

I'm not sure. There is a gym at the Asoke BTS at Soi 14. That's a 5 min walk from Soi 8.
