It goes straight into the interview. No unnecessary intros. Brilliant concept! We know who Nate Wood is: MASTER of several instruments!

this is so dope. someone handed me a Kneebody cd while i was at CalArts back in the day and it helped open up a whole new world of drumming for me, even though my degree is in theatre lol. i remember trying to get pointers from Gene Coy (shoutout and imho would be a great guest on this channel) while waiting for our critical studies course to begin. peeps around this crew are from some awesome space/time portal in the future. so cool! just play. it’s a lifelong journey with peaks and valleys. the practice is the thing

Amazing interview! Loved the questions, the answers and all the back and forth. Definitely will try even more of Flow State in my playing.

Nate’s one of the most interesting guys and players of many things. Provide so much inspiration for so long I’d admire and appreciate all of it. Old school kneebody, pre nate, wendel/endlsey group fanboy. Oh, other nate, your an inspiration in many ways as well brother. Love your videos. Thanks to both of you.

So while this video is mostly theoretical, if not philosophical, I took three very practical takeaways from it:
    1. If you’re losing the flow, try breathing.
    2. Sit at the back of the chair.
    3. Hold stick with back fingers for a sharper sound at the same volume.
I feel like each one of those three has made me a better drummer.

Disregarding your pod's interesting contents, I just watched Marcus Baylor with Kenny Garret (in Burghausen 2015 YT)... that's the guy any post-'trane tenor god would want... wow...! Any more on this powerhouse..?
