@@Smokecall The pixelated plate is only visible for approximately 14 seconds. Assuming they filmed this in 25 FPS, that’s 350 frames. That’s not too bad. An experienced editor would likely only take a few hours, which still is really time intensive (and tedious), but not that bad. Also, the plate wasn’t in motion the entire time. I reckon they only had to edit less than 300 frames.

I love that Jeremy always gives them gifts even if they’re a pile of crap lmao, but in the Middle East special Jeremy bought James some plastic flowers and apparently he liked them so much he kept them in the car on display, even though they never mentioned it in the episode (it’s explained in the DVD audio commentary)

In patagonia james explained in an interview they didn't choose that numberplate Because there's a reference of a war or something. Jezza's Porsche was rare, and there were only two of them when they were buying. The one with the numberplate was the best choice so they bought that one.
James also explained nobody in the crew even noticed or acknowledged the meaning of the numberplate. Not even Jezza himself. It wasn't intentional, it wasn't for a bit, it wasn't for a gaff. It's what they had because there were only two cars and one of them was the better one. The one with the number plate.

Did anyone else catch the continuity error in the episode? There’s a brief shot of Hammond’s car with the “FURY” license plate before the scene where Jeremy gave it to him.

Yep. Noticed it the 2nd time I watched it.
There is more than just one shot. Hammond pretty much has the fury plate on his car, pretty much after they modified them and are on the beach. Then lots more times, before jezza gave him the plate.

Fury is the name of a tank from the film fury, he got that number plate cos he put tank treads on his car. Hence the name Fury.
